Keith Thurman beats Kell Brook all day, everyday and twice on Sunday.

Brook has been ducking Thurman for the longest time. But now he's got Diego Chaves lined up with Errol Spence Jr to follow. He'll have his hands full with Chaves, but the ground will literally open up from under him with Spence Jr.

I don't expect Brook to be holding onto his strap for long.

Let's see how Thurman looks against common opponent Porter

Brook. I think Thurman is one of the more overrated guys in boxing who has basically beaten no one. Who cares about your undefeated record it is about who you beat and when you beat them. He does not have anything on his resume at all.

Thurman would wipe the floor with him.

Common opponents mean nothing, besides all Brook did against porter was hold on for dear life at the slightest hint of an exchange.

Well, I am not real high on Thurman yet, but he has a good start to his resume, and aside from Porter, over-all better I think than Brook. Carlos Quintana, (3 losses) Jan Zaveck, (2 losses) Diego Chaves, (who gave Bradley a tough fight, and was unbeaten at the time) Soto Karass, (who KO'd Berto) Julio Diaz, (who drew with Porter once and arguably beat Khan), unbeaten Bundu, Guerrero, and Collazo. Not great, but a great start. Besides Porter, Brook has Senchenko, and ?

I'd go with Thurman.
Vasquez KOS either of them

I think Brook is the all around better fighter and he also has the better resume. I think Brook is a solid boxer and he packs a big punch.

For the record I think Thurman is going to have a tough time dealing with Porter and his inside game. Go back and watch Thurman vs Chavez. Chavez was putting on a great performance and was giving Thurman a lot of problems on the inside before Thurman stopped him. And I think Porter is a lot better than Chavez.

It's a fair point actually! It'll be a points win either way.. Doesn't get me excited.. Now errol spence jr vs either of those is a great fight.. Spence jr stops both of them and in style too.. But I doubt either Thurman or brook would take a fight with spence.. They'd prob make excuses why they shouldn't fight him like brook already has..

Well here's the thing. Spence Jr is Brook's mandatory. So either he fights or he vacates.

Thurman has been avoided his whole professional career. Thurman is calling out Garcia who seems reluctant to begin talks. Brook is also shying away from Thurman. Which leaves the newly crowned Jessie Vargas. Lets say Thurman gets Vargas and Spence Jr beats Brook and somehow gets Garcia to face him. Then the resulting mega fight with Spence will be for a clean sweep of the titles.

Spence has huge potential. Most of it unrealised at the time of writing. Spence should already have a belt and be angling for another. His team are letting him down terribly in that regard.

While Spence is special, Thurman is exceptional. And by that I mean he's one of the best boxers I have ever seen. His IQ, in fight analysis of opponents, adjustments and execution are nigh on flawless.

Spence is a freight train and Thurman won't be coerced into hitting it while it's empty.

Thurman for me, although I do think Brook is a quality fighter.

The only problem for me in respect of Brook is that it has been so long since he fought an opponent that isn't clinically dead, that he might get the shock of life when he fights someone that would not fall over when he hit them & someone that actually hit him back!

I think Chavez is an extremely durable fighter. And I'm not quite sure Porter is better than him. If Chavez were to fight Broner, I'd pick Diego by KO.

At this point, Thurman/Porter is a pick'em fight. But, if I had to, I'd go with Thurman.

I'd edge Thurman to win a close one on points.

No real A side here so be interesting if it would happen on PBC stateside or MatchRoom in the UK.

I'd guess money wise PBC stateside.

But if it were to happen I would rather lose it backing Thurman.
