More awful PBC matchmaking. Beterbiev fighting a SMW who has never beaten anyone good ever and who lost to Oosthuizen and Edwin Rodriguez.

I have a suspicion they're gonna cash out on Stevenson soon and are setting up Beterbiev as their new guy at 175.

Beterbiev will kick Maderna's ass. Maderna is a decent fighter, but Beterbiev will win this one pretty easy.

There's really nobody for them to cash out Stevenson against, so they might as well match him against Beterbiev soon and let Beterbiev make his name a little bigger by beating Stevenson's ass.

They could theoretically get a PPV meal out of Kovalev/Stevenson before having Stevenson fade into retirement, but they may prefer to have him lose his belt to one of their own in-house guys, and of course Beterbiev is the obvious choice.

Maderna is a SMW. This is a mismatch like Garcia vs Salka. Another Haymon's crap.

Mismatch but with his level of inactivity maybe he's just shaking off some rust before a big fight.

It will be an easy fight for Beterbiev.

In fact, what I hope for him is that he's not from Povetkin same school of boxing.

Yea its a mismatch similar almost as bad as Canelo vs Khan :)

I get that Beterbiev is just coming off shoulder surgery, but let's face it, he has one quality win, and that's against former champion, Cloud.

Outside of that all of his fights have been PBC mismatches. They are trying to build him up. He ducked Barrera, he calls out Kovalev to stay relevant.

And I think Beterbiev would have a really hard time dealing with Stevenson. Adonis has very fast hands.

I doubt Steveneson and his crystal chin would last long against Beterbiev.

He got hit once against Fonfara and he went on the canvas. Beterbiev is a hard and accurate puncher. When he connects Stevenson on the jaw, he will see the stars of boxing.
