if the Skelton and Earl fights are included, then i'll be buying it. The price doesn't bother me, cause any of my mates who come round to watch it throw in a bit of money.

I cannot see the British action being included in the price, it is usually free to watch the British stuff and if they start uncluding it then i suppose people would start getting pissed off. The thing that concerns me about the Tyson-Williams fight is not just the poor main event but the dire undercard. The recent DLH/Hopkins double header was probably worth the money alone (at least looking at the fights before they actually happened) particuarly considering there was also a good undercard scrap on in Lazcano-Castillo which turned out to be the fight of the night. The recent Sanders-Klitschko fight had an awful undercard and i believe the PPV purchases suffered on that one also.

I will crack and pay, so why try resisting. :(

I'm not buying it and not's the money that bothers me, it's the quality of the product I object to. This is a low standard main event and it could all be over in seconds anyway. So there's no way I'm going to encourage them by forking out for it.

It says something about how much I root for Danny Williams when I'll fork out for this match but not Vitali v Sanders.

Make no mistake - if this was Tyson versus anyone else at Danny's level i.e Neilsen or Etienne then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole as I didn't with the aforementioned matches. But this is last chance saloon for Danny Williams, a truly lovely bloke, and IF he holds it together and pulls off a miracle I damn well want to make sure I watched it as it happened.

£14.99 is actually a better deal than here in the US, where this and all other pay-per-views are typically $50 (about £27). I paid that much for the Hopkins-Allen/De La Hoya-Sturm card, but I'll pass on this one. I've got a bad feeling this one will be a circus like the Etienne or Savarese fights, where the guy looks for a soft spot on the canvas after the first good shot from Mike.

I cannot believe they are putting the British stuff on PPV too, it's daylight robbery. They used to show the British stuff first for free and then stick the American action on at about midnight. Once when the undercard fights were late starting they even showed Freitas-Barrios from the week before to fill time. Nowadays if it was running late they are more likely to ask Johnny Nelson the same question in five different ways or go back out live to Glenn and Ian to tell us for the tenth time that Las Vegas has been buzzing all week or some nonsense to kill time

Ill be watching it with a few mates with money on a early Tyson KO to make it more exciting.

Only because I'll be in the South of France, otherwise I reckon the curiousity of seeing how Danny gets on against Tyson would have definitely gotten the better of me.

What time is the Tyson fight likely to happen (in good ol British GMT)? I have to work in the morning and would like to know what state I'm likeley to be in.

Thats the good part..nightclubs close around 3am and the fight will start shortly after :)

the problem with drinking before the big fights.

I stayed up to watch Foreman v Moorer .I fell asleep after a couple of beers, might have been a few more than that and woke to see the end credits of the show with Foreman holding his hands aloft, so not only did i miss the fight, i had seen who won, so i couldn't watch the repeat without knowing who the winner was.

I fell asleep all through Gatti v Ruelas / Lewis v Golota. What a tit. I'd never been so nervous for Lennox before or since, and he goes and produces his most devastating display.

I'm actually beginning to think there is also some phenomenan about why I always awake as the end credits are rolling, which as you say often gives away the result!
