Andy Ruiz Jr vs Ray Austin

This fight is tonight, is it televised?
Good to see Ruiz back even if the opposition is less than....
It is his second best ever opponent so in relative terms it is one of his tougher. I expect him to win but Andy Ruiz does need to fight top 20 top 30 guys.Freedom wrote:This fight is tonight, is it televised?Good to see Ruiz back even if the opposition is less than....
Can you believe the under odds for cyborg? I maxed on that.diddy wrote:Austin sucks. Ruiz wins just by sucking much less.
Mariasz Wach gets a GIFT decision at home vs awful bum Nascimento. Would've lost were the fight anywhere else. Dude was a -15000 favorite.
Have her to win in Round 1.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Can you believe the under odds for cyborg? I maxed on that.diddy wrote:Austin sucks. Ruiz wins just by sucking much less.

Easiest money ever. I have Belfort and werdum, both tough calls. Money is already cashed for the night.diddy wrote:-190 to win in round 1.
If he got in shape he wouldn't be a heavyweight.Cutman Scabbers wrote:Always impressed by Andy Ruiz' skill set, fast hands, chin, determination.
Give it to the kid he's dropped almost 40 pounds since his pro debut.
Would like to see him come in around 220.

Yeah in the sense that they both have heads....Cutman Scabbers wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:If he got in shape he wouldn't be a heavyweight.Cutman Scabbers wrote:Always impressed by Andy Ruiz' skill set, fast hands, chin, determination.

I see a little resemblance to Rocky Marciano

I think he's rated just fine considering he apparently never has any intention of actually getting in shape and getting the best out of himself.Boxingtruth wrote:Ruiz is a technically sound fighter with a good chin, lacks a little height for a heavyweight, and the fat suit he wears does him no favours from a promotional stance.. But I really like him as a fighter.. If your not a very very good fighter, he will certainly expose you.. Very underrated all round..
He also hasn't fought a Top 30 opponent yet.Boxingtruth wrote:gilgamesh wrote:I think he's rated just fine considering he apparently never has any intention of actually getting in shape and getting the best out of himself.Boxingtruth wrote:Ruiz is a technically sound fighter with a good chin, lacks a little height for a heavyweight, and the fat suit he wears does him no favours from a promotional stance.. He started his career at 300lb.. And has gradually got down to high 240lb low 250lb.. The effort is there to see.. Plus he can do 10 rounds very comfortably.. Just a naturally fat ish guy.. Shouldn't at all matter what he looks like.. The man can really fight... Remember how he destroyed a ripped unbeaten joe hanks?? The fat did him no probs there...
I look forward to seeing him fight real competition.Boxingtruth wrote:Ohhhh that's probably his fault then.. Hahaha.. He 27-0 loads of knockouts and a chin to match.. They must be lining up to fight him.. After destroying joe hanks, an unbeaten highly touted American .. He's been swerved like the plague.. They all (the promoters) use the same excuse.. He's too fat to sell! Imagine that.. Huge Mexican following that can't sell.. It's politics that he doesn't get the fights pure and simple.. They can't avoid him forever.. You'll see..gilgamesh wrote:He also hasn't fought a Top 30 opponent yet.Boxingtruth wrote:

Started at 300 pounds and worked his way down to high 240's and low 250's, just means that he worked his way down from Obese to Fat. He's still Fat.Boxingtruth wrote:gilgamesh wrote:I think he's rated just fine considering he apparently never has any intention of actually getting in shape and getting the best out of himself.Boxingtruth wrote:Ruiz is a technically sound fighter with a good chin, lacks a little height for a heavyweight, and the fat suit he wears does him no favours from a promotional stance..
