Just seen an interview on IFL that says the two are due to fight.

Decent close fight at that level I think.

Lewison will win handily here I reckon. I'm sure they were due to fight a year or two ago at a show in Paisley after Sam Sexton had pulled out. I think Cornish ended up fighting the war machine!

Purse bids at the start of July apparently. Hopefully we don't see anyone pulling out and stating other intentions.

I take it it's some sort of British title eliminator?

I like this fight a lot. I could see this as a good little undercard job on one of the Sky shows as I don't think it would cost too much to make and I'd expect a knockout.

I'd have Lewison as a clear favourite but it would be a measuring stick for him and Cornish would be a much better underdog than some of the Eastern European heavyweights who get brought over.

Lewison in 3. Longer it goes the more Cornish has a shot.

Interesting fight....this is the level that each of them should be matched at.

I wish more fights like this were made instead of mismatch after mismatch.

I actually favour Cornish here.

Be a good 50/50 fight though.

Lewison needs another warm up first and he is still very overweight judging by his last performance. lewison has the talent but Cornish has the fitness and reach as said above the longer it goes the better Cornish's chances. Its a cracking fight though lets hope it gets made.
