better than a Tony Jeter oppoenent Eddie likes to provide but still a huge mismatch as would Ryder be. Eubank is well beyond British level. after this he needs to be looking at some of the fringe contenders like Heiland, Lee, N'Dam, Stevens, Qullin, Soro or Tureano Johnson. I think he's a couple fights a way from Lemieux and Jacobs level yet.

Bad fight, Eubank jr is a much higher level, can't see it happening, unless he is looking to win the Lonsdale belt outright. Eubank should be fighting at world level now, he is no 1 challenger for a world title.

If it has to be a defence of the British title theres probably no better option.
You could argue that Ryder is more proven but he has that stoppage loss to Blackwell on his record.
Markham is a tough fella but probably quite below Eubanks' level (and has a fight scheduled)
Good shout from whoever said Heiland and N'dam. They'd both be decent tests right now. If he's not gonna try win the Lonsdale outright, why defend it at all? He's got much bigger fish to fry.

World class in the sense of being able to compete with the best, but he's not anything close to the best at MW. I'd like to see how he fares against someone like Lemieux, I'm not convinced he'd win.
