GGG Needs To Earn His Shot By Fighting Lara!

How arrogant of him and Abel...He hasn't fought ONE name opponent and he feels he deserves a Canelo payday? Fight Lara!
Because he's the top P4P fighter who is interested in fighting Golovkin and he's only a division below.Baby Face Finster wrote:Why do people keep mentioning Lara? When exactly has he ever fought at 160?
He's not on any P4P lists I've seen, but whatever. If you want GGG to show you how much more efficiently he can handle Lara than Canelo could I'm all for it.Horse wrote:Because he's the top P4P fighter who is interested in fighting Golovkin and he's only a division below.Baby Face Finster wrote:Why do people keep mentioning Lara? Golovkin should be looking to fight him in the next 12 months, whether or not the Alvarez fight happens.
He's not in the top 10, but he's still the best fighter who wants to fight Golovkin.gilgamesh wrote:He's not on any P4P lists I've seen, but whatever. If you want GGG to show you how much more efficiently he can handle Lara than Canelo could I'm all for it.
It'd be up there yes.Horse wrote:He's not in the top 10, but he's still the best fighter who wants to fight Golovkin.gilgamesh wrote:He's not on any P4P lists I've seen, but whatever. If you want GGG to show you how much more efficiently he can handle Lara than Canelo could I'm all for it.
It would probably be Golovkin's best win.
When did Lara become a top P4P fighter? Last time I checked he wasn't on any top 10 P4P list. And he couldn't seal the deal on the shot he had with Canelo.Horse wrote:Because he's the top P4P fighter who is interested in fighting Golovkin and he's only a division below.Baby Face Finster wrote:Why do people keep mentioning Lara? So who's a better P4P fighter who is interested in fighting Golovkin then?IKSRTFO wrote:When did Lara become a top P4P fighter? Last time I checked he wasn't on any top 10 P4P list. And he couldn't seal the deal on the shot he had with Canelo.

His best official win is definitely Trout. Though he should have a win over Paul Williams which would be his best win.IKSRTFO wrote:Horse wrote:So who's a better P4P fighter who is interested in fighting Golovkin then?IKSRTFO wrote:When did Lara become a top P4P fighter? Lara is so overrated that it isn't funny. What is his best win? Trout? Angulo? Everyone Lara beat, GGG would've beat in a more devastating fashion.

He doesn't need him, but if Alvarez ducks him then who's he going to fight?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I'd love to see GGG/Lara, though the promotional issues make it difficult. He certainly doesn't need Lara.
He certainly isn't fighting Jacobs or Quillin. Or Lara, Al isn't going to make that fight. He has in house fights for Lara.Horse wrote:He doesn't need him, but if Alvarez ducks him then who's he going to fight?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I'd love to see GGG/Lara, though the promotional issues make it difficult. Saunders? Jacobs? Eubank Jr? Lee? Quillin?
It's slim pickings at middleweight. They should at least try to make the Lara fight.
G is trying to attract fans, not detract them. Lara can move up to MW and wait in line if he wants a fight so bad.Horse wrote:He's not in the top 10, but he's still the best fighter who wants to fight Golovkin.gilgamesh wrote:He's not on any P4P lists I've seen, but whatever. It's a good fight for Golovkin.Pureist wrote:Haven't any of you clowns noticed how much crap chickenelo is copping for fighting opponents smaller than himself, yet here you all are saying GGG should do exactly the same thing, there hasn't been any offer from Lara's side, you clowns haven't realised yet that fighters sometimes drop other fighters names to keep themselves relevant,if Lara really wanted to fight him then he should test the waters fighting 1-2 MWs first to show he is serious, you guys are suckers that keep pushing this angle
So Golovkin should run from one of his best possible opponents?Impractical Poster wrote:G is trying to attract fans, not detract them. Lara can move up to MW and wait in line if he wants a fight so bad.
I'd have no issue if Golovkin fought Lara next. He'll knock him out, and make a statement in doing so.Impractical Poster wrote:G is trying to attract fans, not detract them.
