A legend who Never lost a fight.

Purely a guess, but I'm thinkin' he suffered an injury in his last fight.

Not much else could explain it...unless he won the lottery.

You know, I wonder how many other Bob Fong Wong's are out there.

Since they never had a chance to prove themselves, and the sport is so dangerous,

there must be "missing legends" in high numbers.

Just Lady Luck robbing some, while gifting others.

She's quite the bitch aint she?

How about a thread on Chinese-American boxers?

Just assuming Bob Fong Wong was of Chinese extraction.

It's also plausible that Bob lost both his arms in a combine accident late in the summer of 64. He tried to come back wearing a single glove on his head but the bastards wouldn't license him. Forced to fight on the unlicensed circuit he would go on to loose every fight except his last one, a boring 10 round draw vs "legless" Joe Jackson in 2010. Fong Wong then retired at the ripe age of 70 with a 0-1-145 record sans arms.
