That 'event' tonight must be there or thereabouts. Flintoff's is close too.

That shizzle bizzle or whoever he was even had the commentators apologising. Then we had audio out of synch, some stupid bimbo with her social media bollox, Ronnie whatever commentating with such crap as "The fighting in the red corner opposite our commentary position", as if I fecking know or care where they are sat, Barry McGuigan commentating as if he would be at all impartial when his son is in the corner and it was just all so damn low rent

It ranks up there with Hamed- Lawal or Tyson Seldon in terms of competitiveness that's for sure.

Eubank v Jeter
Brook v Bizier
.....
The matchroom Liverpool card when Bellew and cleverly were on and fought different people
The buglioni card when he was first going to fight chudinov
I could be all day here and this is recent stuff

Without a doubt the biggest shambles I've ever witnessed, even taking away the fact that the matches were awful, I can even let Haye/Gjergjaj as a match up beforehand slide as David had been inactive for 3 years, had been injured and is getting on a bit so he's still finding his feet a little,Arnold was unbeaten and it was on Dave so we're not getting fleeced and as a fight I'm sure even Haye didn't think he would try and dive his way out the way he did
But the production???
Markham/Mullender despite being tipped as a good fight we only get the last 3 rounds, then we're treated to an hour and a half of an endless list of presenters, all who by the way are shite, chats with Z listers, then a rich white collar businessman fights a no hoper, then Briggs who to be fair looked good against a stiff, more talking bollocks about Haye's favourite food, the audio went to pot,Ronald McIntosh never shut up,Lethal Bizzle was shouting about jelly wobbling, Gjergjaj tried to dive from a jab, then Floyd Moore's fight got cut short as it was hitting up
Have I missed anything??

Awful show tonight.
At least there was a comedy element to the awfulness off fish chips and scraps. Rugby players drinking sherry, Jamie Moore commentating whilst waving a banana about, the female interviewer calling Ross burkinshaws retirement excellent.

No I genuinely loved fish chips and scraps. Gutted they only did 1. Good production and tongue in cheek.
Tonight was a shambles.

Flintoff fight was a farce obviously but there was a decent title fight on the show,I'm sure it was Vassell retained his Commonwealth title stopping an unbeaten Heffron and Fish chips was comical too but they were decent honest shows
But tonight????

Well yeah, it's a channel which screens endless repeats of Top Gear, Mock the Week and QI and fills the rest of it out with yankee shite like Lizard Lick Towing, it was never going to be good was it?

Some good points out of tonights fiasco........
1.Hayes son looked to be embarrassed about being in the ring, probably thought it was WWF
2. He didnt have a fancy hairdo
3. Mcguigan wasnt smirking for a change although still spouting cobblers
Good job it was free cause nobody in their right mind would pay to see that shite.

I always record these shows so that I can fast-forward the chat and adverts. I started watching it at 9-30 and had caught up to live viewing well before the main event. It amazes me that 16000 people apparently bought tickets to be there. I can't believe that many had a clue what they were watching. Truly awful.

He always gets on my cuff but he was off the scale tonight, what the hell was he babbling about most of the time?
I think it was like the nervous waffling you get from some hyper bint on a first date, trying to fill the awful void of the complete dross he knew was about to be witnessed.

i done security for that bizzle fella last year (wanker), wtf was he doing there and some bird singing in the ring. and danny cipriani, who cares what he has to say about boxing. i just watched it in a bar and there was no sound really so the whole thing made no sense to me. just like a big phoney celebration of an overated boxer about to beat up a bum. it was strange, didnt feel like i was watching a boxing card, more of a scripted show really.

The triple header 154 card later already had me worrying about it being a bit boring but I was still looking forward to it because I'm expecting maybe 2 of the fights to be competitive and the landscape of the division will become a bit clearer afterwards but having watched #HayeDay2 I'm well and truly scunnered so I'm off to bed
Good night folks cheers for the giggles on the RBR tonight

Consider all the things that made the Foreman & the Toronto 5 telecast so infamous for so many years: Foreman exagerrating the heel persona, flexing his muscles, the bad opponents, Ali heckling him from ringside, rabble rousing the crowd, Cossell having to circusmaster some control - who could have guessed that 40 years later every single element would not only be commonplace - they would be mandatory?

Having Barry McGuigan, the son of Haye's trainer commentate sums up the quality of proceedings.

The whole Tyson vs Savarese bill was awful. I remember for the first time watching a night of boxing and thinking what a waste of time it was, I could have been doing something more productive with my time, not just that fight, the whole card was shite.
