Would this work.

Each man guaranteed a set fee for 5 contracted fights over 2 years.

£25million each for the total of 5 fights, with penalties for pulling out, or not completing the contract

Would this pull £150million worldwide revenue over the tournament to make it worthwhile? Maybe £200million inc setting up etc.

Fighters that would sell ideally:

Wilder
Fury
Haye
Ortiz
Parker
Joshua

The rest, who I don't think would garner much world interest:

A simple 8 man tournament would do.

With McDermott's inactivity and Haye's poor recent opponents, I'm not sure that fight would merit the English title being on the line, they might have to settle for the Southern Area.

I'd like to see another Super 6, but just by uttering the words "I'd like to see it" on a Boxing forum must have some Promoter somewhere going "Well you heard him. Now give him the opposite of what he wants"

It'd take a lot to get Fury Vs Haye.

I doubt he's got five fights left in him tbh. He's not looked too clever his last couple of fights. Was excellent against Pulev though so it looks as if he's gotten old over night. We'll see if he changes it up against Fury. Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh? He has got a few questions to answer against Fury. If he does it then fair play.

I see a totally different fight this time. Klitscho to win. Can anyone tell me what is going on with Wilder? Has he pulled out of his fight?

It's so close actually, I think Klitschko can win against Haye, Ortiz, and Parker, I find Klitschko Wilder really hard to predict.
Remarkebly I expect Wilder to win against Haye, Haye to win (most rounds) against Ortiz and Ortiz to win against Wilder, which makes an odd triangle.

I think Haye can win most rounds against Povetkin and Ortiz, but will probably lose against all others.

I expect Joshua and Fury to win against everybody and if I had to put money on it I would put it on Joshua on KO if they fought each other.

I think styles make fights, Wilder for example got quite an ideal body for a boxer, but he isn't a smart boxer. Hughie Fury got a terrible body for a top boxer, but he's simply a very smart boxer. Povetkin got a terrible body as well, a bit in a differend way, but you can see that he's highly skooled from young age.


I must take some words back around Wilder over the last few years as well actually. I still don't like the guy, I still hate him outside the ring, but he has proved he has more skills as I expected, he improved massively between his Stiverne and Duhaupas fight.
