The Charlos are still a work in progress but what they do have going for them is that they are STRONG and they fire back :bag: at you like Holyfield

when tagged you can expect the incoming and it would be awesome to see how Canelo does against them!

I wasn't impressed with Jermell, but Jermall looked solid.

IMO Canelo beats both of them. One of them was supposed to fight Andrade a while back and that would've been an interesting match-up.

Right now I don't want to see Canelo fight anybody not named Golovkin, but once that business is out of the way I'd be down to see him fight either of the Charlo's or any other solid opponent.

Canelo won't be fighting any PBC fighters anytime soon.

I think we can forget about Canelo vs GGG for at least a year. Canelo's main options are:
- fight a good MW like Lemieux at 160
- fight a good MW at a catch-weight
- fight a top SWW for a title
- drag a good SWW up to 160 or a catch-weight
- drag yet another WW like Bradley up to 160 or a catch-weight

The only two good options are 1 and 3 which would provide some excuse for not fighting Golovkin right away. For the other selections, Canelo will be sharply criticized which he would deserve.

If he fights Lemieux next or a Jr. Middleweight I don't expect the PPV to sell very well. Not fighting GGG is gonna have a major negative impact on his drawing power I'll bet.

I agree, but it looks like Oscar has a different way of thinking or Canelo wouldn't have dropped the belt.

I think that the blade of criticism is as sharp as it can get at this point. If this continues, GingerHead's brand will be irreparably damaged. It is unfortunate because he seems like a decent individual.

GingerHead doesn't even have a belt any longer. 3G may choose to ignore him at this point, preferring to go after the other belts.

If GingerHead chooses to drag someone like LeMieux under 160 or drag another welter not far removed from 140 up to 155 it will cement his developing brand as a cowardly prima Dona.

The more I think about it the clearer that it becomes that his brand is being consciously diminished as the good guy and made over to create a hater class that will watch all of his fights in hope of seeing him ktfo.

He's also a PBC fighter, he's one of the Charlo's mandatory. Hopefully Jamall, that would be better than either vs Canelo.

He is indeed Jermall's mandatory. I've never been overly impressed with J Rock Williams. I think Jermall will beat him pretty handily, but it's an interesting fight all the same.

I've been big on Jermall for a while now. Very patient behind his jab and he unloads with power too.

There no way that lemieux figth canelo under 160. He has difficulty to make 160 multiple times in the past.

The brother that was getting outboxed looked bad because he was trying to look good. He can fight much better than that, but he wanted a KO badly. I hope he doesn't do that again.

The brother that beat Trout (who looked very good) looked dominant. He took some shots, but I think it was more because he had little respect for Trout's power. His height would be a big problem for Canelo.

I'm assuming that the forum has automatically changed Fwank Wawwen to allegedly because that link goes nowhere.
