Always do really good events. Next is on July 2nd, so get yourself along if you're in the area.

How competitive do you expect the fights to be?
Without even knowing who is on the bill I would be willing to bet that all boxers in the red corner will win - fancy a bet?

It's the same with most of the Scottish shows up here with a few exceptions. Frustrating as fukk!

I am sure it is.
I don't expect every fight to be 50/50 but when the results are constantly every single home fighter winning then these shows only appeal to the family and friends of the home boxer and neutrals and general boxing fans aren't interested (this comment isn't aimed particularly at this promoter just a comment in general)

You can bet on the home corner and win 99% of the time. But they're all good kids and some of them have a lot of talent and will go on to better things, such as Zelfa Barrett for example. Rarely do any of the home fighters have more than 10 fights under their belt.

Exactly - there were some stats a few years ago which showed that most pros retire before having 10 fights.
This is because of the current system.
Turn pro, sell tickets to family and mates, get a few wins, keep being matched with poor opposition, family and friends start to get fed up and stop buying tickets or as boxer will only fight on a home show the fights are few and far between, they eventually take a competitive fight and lose, the boxer gets fed up, the promoter then moves on to the next boxer turning over to repeat the same process.
At the other end of the scale, certain promoters sign up certain boxers who are able to train full time and towards fixed dates for fights.
Their careers are managed to get the titles and the other lads struggle to get a look in.

I see it as not much different to watching youth football, which is something else I do, so maybe more the fool me but...
It's cheaper for starters, and you know 75% of the pros aren't going to make it, but some are, and it's nice to watch them develop, back home with time to spare and watch the actually good cards on BN in the small hours.
I think a lot of these sorts of kids would do over some of the Matchroom prospects etc, but as you say, they don't get much of a look in. Though Black Flash seem to making moves into Warren's back pocket, and that can only be a good thing for their stable.
