This rumour has been about a while, talk about Hopkins final fight being against GGG. Did you think it will happen and how do you see it going if it does?

I kinda doubt it happens, but if it did Golovkin probably becomes the first man to ever stop Hopkins. Even if he doesn't he wins every round. Hopkins had an unbelievable run as a fighter that could keep on fighting a high level in spite of his age, but at 50 I think that run is surely over.

Golovkin would not be interested in this fight. Kovalev beat Hopkins 120-107 X 3... So as a boxing match it's ridiculous. Hopkins might have fought Abraham and had a chance. He might fight George Groves and have a chance. He might even fight James DeGale and have a small chance. He's not going to beat Golovkin, but he has like 6 losses so another loss at 50 or 51 doesn't hurt him. It didn't hurt Larry Holmes. It's not worth GGG's time. He should be fighting Daniel Jacobs, Billy Joe Saunders, and Canelo Alvarez... and if he can't get those fights shame on Boxing as a Sport.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Hopkins try to win a belt at 168 after the Kovalev defeat, had a decent chance against Abraham, but it's been too long now and a fight with GGG wouldn't be competitive - only dangerous.

Not gonna happen. Are you hating on Bernard or what ? At 50-51, face the animal like Golovkin ?

Do you think Hopkins would beat any of the aforementioned, Jacobs, Saunders or Canelo? I don't want to see Hopkins fight GGG but he's probably the most likely to see the final bell.

He would probably still beat Saunders and Jacobs at 168-170. Canelo would never fight him at that weight.

Yes, but is that what you want??? After B-Hop was dropped by Kovalev in the first round he was determined to see the final bell.. Kovalev was a million miles ahead so why take a risk knocking Hopkins out??? I was happy to see that fight because of all these idiots with their "expert" videos sayin "We know Kovalev can only win by KO, so when he's way behind expect him to go for it." and "Why would Kovalev be so much easier for Hopkins than the Pavlik fight??? Let me explain." I knew Kovalev should have been a 25-1 favorite and the only way he could lose would be on a cut. But I knew the fight was going to be a survival contest devoid of drama.. Same with GGG-Hopkins.. GGG would dominate and the fight would stink.
