Becouse Wilder already wasted half a year without earning money, and only few recognisable guys are ready to take on Wilder at less than two months notice...

I'd rather see Washington too, although both are pretty uninspiring fights.

LOL, he would have fought Povetkin in Russia last week if his opponent didn't get busted. Should he have to sit around for 9 or 10 months while they sort out the situation? I'm not a big fan, but the hate for Wilder here is outlandish. He stays active, that will generate more voluntaries.

Why? Because the whole boxing setup is totally corrupt, WBC and the other alphabets, that Las Vegas NeVADA drug testing outfit with mobbed up Doctor Irene Goodman, these ridiculous staged Haye exhibitions billed as real shoots, Letsgochamps' staged and scripted film clips with Wlad and now Haye, all the crooked refereeing and judging and matchmaking and tv shilling. Arreola isn't ranked neither in the WBC nor in the WBA, WBO & IBF top 15.

Big shame povetkin messed up. Would have been ring mags no.2 v no.3 contender. Never mind. I guess povetkins late bloom has been exposed.

there are only a few name fighters willing to show up on short notice like that.
when fury's fight with chisora fell through, ustinov was willing to step in on like
a day or two's notice, so guaranteed if he was offered a wilder fight in july he
would take it. unless you want to see stiverne get pummeled even worse than
last time, people have to settle for arreola or ustinov. pretty sure ustinov is a
little bigger than wilder. he would be the most intersting of the 3 for me on
short notice. stiverne has been tweeting saying he wants wilder but is it wilder
or the paycheck?

Ustinov had been training for Fury and had been sparring Wach and some other big guys. Tyson at the time said he felt like it had been set up. Whether it had been or not, Ustinov was certainly ready for him and wasn't just coming in off the sofa with no camp.

And remember Povetkin was below the limits, Arreola was far above these limits...

Nothing would surprise me with the governing bodies but surely Arreola won't get a shot. He's not even in their top 40. He's listed as 'Not Available' for a ranking due to legal reasons.

Looking at the top 15:
1. Povetkin - Failed a drug test, fight cancelled.
2. Stiverne - Wilder already beat him easily.
3. Pulev - Only just fought Chisora.
4. Duhaupas - Wilder already beat him.
5. Takam - Just lost to Parker.
6. Parker - Only just fought Takam. Mandatory for AJ.
7. Ruiz - Just fought Austin.
8. Haye - Think he's more interested in fighting bums and waiting for AJ.
9. Jennings - Coming off 2 losses but would probably sell ok.
10. Scott - Wilder already beat him.
11. Szpilka - Wilder already beat him.
12. Molina - Wilder already beat him.
13. Chisora - Coming off a loss to Pulev.
14. Chagaev - Coming off a 'loss' to Browne.
15. Washington - Decent chance of being an opponent.

Pulev would probably want more notice. As would Ruiz but he might take it on short notice anyway. Jennings is an ok opponent that would take the fight. Washington is a pretty good bet for Wilder's next fight imo.

Read something on Ustinov which is strange because he's ranked by almost everybody except WBC.

I expect Wilder to take a fight about a week before even the American scientists can't continue to deny any more that Povetkin's meldonium numbers are perfectly normal and explainable in his case. This to continue to delay as much time as possible. Povetkin is about the only sporter who's guilty untill proven innocent, but sadly that's the way dumb Americans and the American media works.

and everyone who didn't agree with you when you said wilder would vacate to avoid povetkin
was dumb, and everyone who didn't agree when you said wilder wouldn't show up was dumb.
one of these days when you don't turn out to be completely wrong for the first time, you will
jump for joy at finally being proven right after being the dumbest guy in the room for so long.
i for one am cheering for you. i hope you have your big day this time. just so we all know what
we are waiting for, wilder is not going to wait for the wbc to make it's final conclusion on its
investigation and instead sign to fight someone else to avoid povetkin. i feel good about this one.
