Rumours flying around about 2 possible 'near deals'

1- Andre Ward v Nathan Cleverly
2- Deontay Wilder v Chris Arreola

What you guys think about these and the possibility of these happening?

Wow, up to the minute, you are! Both ordinary fights, nothing exciting here.

Ward won't fight in the uk,Clev would definitely travel so that may happen but would be a mismatch in terms of skill,as for wilder v titties, very likely to happen but i have no interest in it at all.

You're so good at coming up with mismatches that I think you should go into promoting.

Stiverne beats Arreola twice.

Wilder dominates Stiverne.

Arreola is fighting Wilder??

Makes no fuckin' sense.

Arreola isn't in the WBC's top 15.

Fighters in the WBC's top 15 who Wilder hasn't already beaten, or who have recently lost a fight, or is going to wait (Parker) are:

Pulev
Ruiz
Washington

It will probably be one of them. Hopefully Pulev, but probably Washington.

Wilder his belt should been taken away from him, then Povetkin can fight whoever he wants out of the top 15. Then Wilder can fight whatever bum he likes.

I'm no Wilder fan, but Povetkin needs to prove he isn't a drug cheat first

Oke, fair enough, remarkebly, didn't Arreola just failed a drugstest? Wilder seems to be closed by his own web of lies.

Think it is safe to assume with Arreola, marijuana has been more of a hindrance to his boxing career.

Arreola has actually had two wins overturned due to failed drug tests.

Marijuana can definitely some performance enhancing effects by the way; it's a known painkiller, so maybe it helped Chris recover from training sessions and perhaps he would've been in even worse shape without it. Either way, he obviously didn't have respect for the rules that were set in place.

It's the analgesic effects that could be beneficial. But it's more the eating effects that look to hinder Arreola.
But of course it is cheating nonetheless and he deserves to be punished.

I don't think Marijuana should be on the list but it obviously is. Just steroids IMO. Fights are being cancelled left and right. Wilder and now Butte. Almost everyone is on something. :OhYes:

True pot is a known pain killer, but so is aspirin. Where are they going to draw the line?

Same thing for Povetkin right?

Pure pish fights. Fights that we know who's going to win before they've even wrapped their hands are pointless (at elite level).
