Burns has looked shop-worn for awhile, he needs to go back a few fights and find the sharpness he had against Kevin Mitchell if he's going to prevail tonight, but that's four years ago now...

It should be a hard old night tonight. If he does a job on Di Rocco then that's a statement. A points win I think. Should be a good fight.

Chris jenkinson beat Marc Kerr on points
Sam ball stopped George hennon in the 3rd but was dropped in the first
John Ryder wins on points (yawn)
First two fights were very decent

Burns close loss to Omar Figueroa Jr was only a year ago and Figueroa is better than Di Rocco.
Burns should win this.

I agree. I don't think it will be an easy night though.

I don't think Ricky has looked as if he wants it enough in recent years. When he fought Martinez he was hungry- he would have done anything that night. After that he diminished, showed tremendous bravery against Beltran but was beaten. He was never ever the most talented fighter about so he has to be 100% hungry to be at his best.

Di Rocco is levels below OFJ. And this is in Britain. Burns will win a decision even if it's remotely close. DIRicco isn't good enough to win as wide as he needs to.

Yeah mate ball was good but he makes mistakes.
Scotty cardle won on points, he was brutal to be fair.
Joe ham won on points but got dropped in the last round.
Ryan smith beat al hamidi on points.

Why does Ed Robinson think that talking like a robot is a good way to present on TV?

It seems like most of the fights have already taken place.
How are they going to fill the 3.5 hour show?

Why is Anthony Ogogo fighting such a low level bum?
A fighter as injury prone as Ogogo shouldn't risk an injury by training to fight this waste of time.
Every fight should count.

I've given McCarthy everything so far. Close but I think he's edged every round. What about his supposed power though?

McCarthy should've stepped it up more after the knockdown....he doesn't seem comfortable going forward and initiating attacks.

Well done to Dickinson for getting up from that. He went down heavily there.

He doesn't finish well, no doubt, but he'll learn. He's only had 8 fights.

I'm not watching at the moment. What's this card like so far? A load of bollocks or not too bad?
