Why did we have a Croat fighting for us on day 1 and an Armenian on day 2 in the recent semi-finals?

I think each team has to have a couple of over seas picks. Not 100% on that but that was my understanding.

That's right.
ten weight categories
Minimum squad of 10 boxers that must have 3 foreign boxers.
Maximum squad of 20 boxers that must have 6 foreign boxers.
