SO? Will the mighty BBB of C ask Amir to appear in front of them for bringing the sport into disrepute by not holding this promotion under their auspices?

If Khan did a promotion under the auspices of the Pakistani board in Bethnal Green, I would think it is wrong.
But what goes on in Pakistan, stays in Pakistan!
People boxing with Maltese licences should fight in Malta.

The BBBoC don't offer to officiate events outside of Britain.

People in glass houses maybe should refrain from throwing stones dont you think ?
Didnt you box yourself on a show that was unsanctioned in Malta on a spanish license ?
Besides the guys in question are on BIBA licenses not maltese.

Perhaps not the best turn of phrase given the likely pre-fight entertainment at a Pakistani sports stadium.

They will , they were interested in doing shows in Dubai, but each time it never came off, many boxing federations do shows in un-licensed countries, GAB and some American state federations have done Dubai shows before, Bob Arum brought American officials to China. khan will bring over officials from the states for his show in Pakistan.

amir has a bbbofc licence so that alone would make the board interested....well if it was a lesser boxer doing it, but the fact he is who he is they wont say a word!! i know this as i have been fined by the board for my involvement in an event in cyprus!!

You boxed on an unlicensed boxing/kickboxing type show whilst holding a BBBoC license didn't you?
I was a little surprised that Amir Khan had made a connection with BIBA but perhaps as he is not boxing and does not hold a BBBoC promotors license he doesn't contravene any rules? I don't know, it will be interesting to find out.
BIBA have implied that Khan will be involved in future BIBA events in the UK but I have no idea if this is the case, it would be a surprise if so.

i held a cyprus licence when my bbbofc licence was up to be renewed and still got called in. cyprus were trying to get pro boxing off the ground at the time (so it wasnt just that show)and any shows at the time(and now) are subject to the local council rules and regulations not an actual board and they were trying to get more universal regulations for all boxing shows!

I had back injuries and cancer.
Out again in September.
Odd fight that, felt like a very comfortable win but didn't get it. He's fine. Seems like a nice enough guy. Not very powerful. Makes bizarre noises even when not throwing punches.

You were still technically licensed with them, so you would have had to make an application to box abroad, to which they would have refused you, because the body or the officials for the show would not be approved or excepted by the BBB of C.

Still listed as licensed on the website, self managed.

then any involvement in unlicensed boxing, according to the board at least should get him called up!
