Colin Lynes showed the key to beating Bennett. Target the body.

All the best Deano.
Deano on points in a close one.
Deans got to put plenty of pressure on him early. High work rate. His strength should tell.

Hmmm, im a very good friend of benny's as we come from the same town, he only lost to Jason Cook by 2 rounds, and also ended Colin Dunne's career, sorry Dean but im with Benni on this one, you'll have to be at your best, good luck either way. :)

definately Dean wins this one but it would be a close fight. Bennett shouldn't be underestimated

Good matchup. Is the Commonwealth title at stake?
Sorry Dean, got to go with Bennett to get a decision on this occasion, but best of luck anyway.

Yes, it's for Bennett's Commonwealth title.

I'll be sticking the interview off to Max mate, don't know whether they will want to run it now or nearer the time or not. By september though, hopefully the magazine will be on the shelves so we will pick up where we left off.

Ok.
Any news from the editor on the "boxing belle" girl I sent you yet? she's persistent.

Tell her to come to my house for 'casting.' No seriously, I forwarded it, but not heard anything. Tell her if you would there is no point being too urgent, as the mag won't be doing anything for a couple of months. Plus there is also one other girl who has already been photographed for the first proper issue.
I sent it to Lee, but he is busy with distribution deals and investment issues, so it is unlikely to be foremost in his mind.

I'll also be rooting for Dean, but along with the body shots i think that work rate will be a major factor. If Dean's able to outwork Bennett over the first half of the fight he should be able to win, because Bennett always seems to me to look very tired towards the end of his fights. I'll take Dean to win, but i think it'll be very close.
Will there be a shot at the British title for the winner? From the outside it looks to be possible.

I think Gavin Rees fights the winner of Earl-Murray. Sports Network won't allow Earl to defend against a rival promoter's fighters (Benny and Dean fight for Matchroom of course) unless the Board say so.

Cheers bennie. I know that it's not exactly prudent to look too far ahead in this sport, but with Vanzie out of the reckoning, the winner of this should be, IMO, the most viable candidate to fight the winner of Earl/Rees (presuming Earl beats Murray again).
