Claims are appearing suggesting this is all a hoax. Sure hope it is a hoax.

Kevin Ferguson AKA Kimbo Slice passed away in a Florida Hospital at the age of 42. The apparent cause was Heart Failure.
Ferguson became famous from You-tube videos where he fought for prize money (bare knuckles) in Back Yards and Parking Lots.
He was a powerful violent puncher who became a sensation then parlayed that into a short MMA career where he had mixed Success.
He also began boxing Professionaly in 2011 and had a 7-0 Career against mediocre Opponents.
Ferguson never fought in any organized boughts until he was in his mid 30s and didnt box until he was 37. I personally think if he had started with a good trainer when he was in his late teens or 20s he could have been a top professional and been a ranked heavyweight in the late 1990s.

Alot of those bigger guys go due to heart failure. Something to do with the muscles restricting the blood flow. Hate to say it but steroids make it even more likely to happen which as big as kimbo was he probably was on some kind of juice.

His last MMA fight was changed to no contest due failed drug test. Pretty easy to guess what caused that hearth failure

Steroids are poison to the body especially in large amounts. So is HGH. If you're taking this stuff it really needs to be in regulated, sporadic amounts.

Sad to see, this is why people shouldn't use steroids indeed.
Perhaps he should have taken some meldonium, it might have saved his life.

Kimbo was a nice guy and a class act outside of the ring . Sad to see him go . I remember watching him in his backyard stints when I was an early teen and thinking he was one of the meanest people on earth but at the height of his career when he was still undefeated and had a big media following he was a down to earth guy and a gentleman . R.I.P Kimbo slice .
