Watching the allegedly "face off" with Fury and Klitchko tonight has only made me more convinced that Fury really isn't playing mind games - I genuinely don't think his heart mind and soul is tuned into this rematch.

Coming in as fat as he did in that press conference started the alarm bells, and his attitude and comments since have been beyond a game in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that face off was filmed at roughly the same time as the press conference so I wouldn't be too concerned. Peter will have him switched onto the task at hand by now.

The fascinating thing is that I really don't think anyone knows the answer to this question, not even Tyson Fury himself. It's what makes him so fascinating. I am convinced he is an intelligent man, but genuinely bi-polar. There is also seems to self destructive or "lets get the World against us" type thing, as he is smart enough to know that saying the things he has said would get the mainstream media in a tabloid frenzy.

I get more concerned for Fury when I see him tweet about drinking/boasting about putting on weight as that's not going to be the way to stay at the top.

I can't help but like TF and want him to do well. I've gone from thinking he will win the 2nd fight comfortably (as often is the case in rematches) to thinking that this could be a trilogy. Fury has a ready made excuse for any defeat by his whole "couldn't give a damn" build up to this one.

He's just impossible to work out, I think it genuinely mashes Vlads head, which I believe is Fury's intention.

Look how quick he jumped on Wlad when he said he didn't try.. Tyson is a very clever man. He plays dumb spoon he can manipulate everyone... This fight is won before he gets in the ring..

I wish people would stop saying he's bi polar. He's clearly not. People with bi polar go bankrupt when they're high because they're spending the mortgage money on yachts and giving their car to blokes they've met in the pub.

He's obviously a complex character, but he's more a moody git and a gobshite than he is mentally ill. Honestly, don't you know plenty of people that are sort of like him?

Most of the stuff I've seen of him lately he's seemed much more up for it.

Wladamir really isn't coming across very well this time around, trying to smile, saying stupid stuff like he is enjoying being the challenger etc. Fury is just sitting there being honest and it looks like Wlad just doesn't know how to be himself at all.

Funnily enough I met up with a mate recently and his misses is Swiss-German. I was telling them how I had tickets for the fight and we were explaining to her who Fury and Wladamir were and suddenly she clicked that he was a klitschko brother and started going on about how huge they are in Germany and how funny and quirky they are, how silly and loveable. She was really smiling when talking about him. She couldn't believe it when I told her that it doesn't translate at all and they get called boring and that they're robots and stuff.

lets face it germanic nations are not (stereotyping here apologies but tis true) known for their humour factor. Having said that they do have other excellent qualities.

I am wondering if he knows he will get a beating this time and is pre-empting it all with the "I don't care, I hope he wins, good luck, he may knock me out in the first round" bs. It feels like the modern version of Patterson putting a fake beard and glasses in his bag for the second Liston fight

Nah. I think he thinks he has wlad's number and doesn't fear him at all, especially now, but is just being realistic and saying the truth: it's possible that Wlad wins this time, isn't it? And at the end of the day it's just boxing. If he did lose it wouldn't be the end of the world for anybody. For all the weird things he has said, here he's just talking sense.

I think you're pretty spot on here. Both Tyson and Hughie Fury seem to have mental instabilities.

Tyson could easily turn up fat, not turn up at all, turn up and brawl from the off, you just don not know what he's going to do.

When he says he has achieved his goal and there's nothing left he truly desires I sort of believe him. If he HAS lost the fire in his belly he could be here one day gone the next.

However, one thing he isn't is stupid, it COULD all be a game.

Only time will tell.

Mind games from Fury.

People around him say he's the most competitive person they know.
He see's mental frailties in Wlad and is looking to exploit them.
I have 100% trust that Peter has full control of Tyson. The problem will always be if Tyson decides to box in the states without him again.

You're not getting my point.... Watch him, nowhere near as stupid as you think.
