TBH I was actually affraid Wilder would fight Washington, because if that happened I'd had to admit that Wilder fought someone where from I think is better opposition as the opponend of AJ.

1. Alexander Povetkin - PED cheat. Wilder's mandatory cancelled.
2. Bermane Stiverne - A rematch w/ former champ would have been acceptable, but Don King likely priced him out.
3. Kubrat Pulev - JUST went 12 tough rounds beating Chisora. Likely too banged up, plus pur$e too low & promotional issues.
4. Johann Duhaupas - Wilder already stopped him in one-sided affair a few months ago.
5. Carlos Takam - JUST L12 to Joseph Parker.
6. Joseph Parker - JUST beat Takam over 12, plus looking toward big money IBF shot.
7. Andy Ruiz - Probably could have stepped in, but low pur$e & promotional issues probably factors for no go.
8. David Haye - Has his own agenda & is def. NOT a low pur$e, late notice type of guy.

Good post SVU, but I don't agree on Jennings; those losses were to top fighters and they shouldn't make him less suitable than a guy who barely got past Travis Kauffman and benefited from a generous draw against Kassi before that. In fact, going just by the books Chris only has one win in his last four, and it's not like he's generally been facing elite opposition.

It is what it is. Wish they'd insert Ortiz in there instead, but you eloquenty explained why. Regarding the above WBC list, accounting for he he's beaten and who's realistic, I'd prefer Washington or Ruiz.

You know Joshua and Wilder are going to fight and they should have fought already... Wilder should be fighting Povetkin, but his team found a way around that fight through the corruption of the WBC acting in concert with the corrupt testing organization VADA... Joshua will probably be fighting Fury next if he gets into shape and beats Klitschko.

Joshua and Wilder arent "the best" so Arreola and Breazeale are in similair company...

Anyway, in other important news.................Kalan and asdfjkl thankfully reminded us all that Povetkin did nothing wrong, Wilder is using the failed test as a way to duck Povetkin, and the WBC, WADA, and VADA are all corrupt and are treating Povetkin unfairly because he is from Russia.

It's simply two keep busy fights for Joshua and Wilder and that is how I see it, because Joshua will need to fight Joseph Parker next while Wilder's mandatory challenger is sorted out.
