Pleased that Jazza finally gets the chance to get in the ring with him. Rigo all day long, obviously.

Rigo wins every time. He could stop him if he gets out of second gear but more than likely he will cruise to a shut-out over 12.

Regardless of style I will go to this just so I can say I saw the great Cuban box.

There's already a thread on the first page about this fight with five pages of replies on it. Why resurrect another one from a month ago?

We've had a poll on it, not that one's particularly needed anyway and people can find the press conference videos themselves, why not just put them on the thread that was already there?

I'll go with Rigondeaux within the first few rounds, I think he likes fighting southpaws.

The atmosphere in the arena was more like a funeral for a friend than a world title fight. What's the deal with the fans? Are they that nonplussed with seeing one of the world's best p4p boxers fight in the UK? :maybe:

In fairness it was over before they could get in to it. They were great during the Liam Williams fight (except for the crowd trouble)

It was the worst crowd I've been involved in tbh. Terrible aggressive atmosphere, hardly anyone actually watching the fights until the main event, and then a shitload of trouble during the Williams fight anyway which ruined the early rounds.

yes was there other side of arena. kicked off during first and second rounds, cops came. put me off paying to go there again.

as for rigo, like to see it galahad fight rigo next, lets face it, it will take galahad 3 years to get back on track. with hennessy having no tv deal. an unlikely win will see him make up for that time he got banned

Pity some arseholes ruined it for the actual fans. I agree about Galahad. I'd like to see that next. Even if he loses he'll learn more in one fight with someone like Rigo than he will in 20 'tune up' fights. If he's fit, can do the weight and injury free he should jump at it if offered!

I'd like to see it too, hopefully he gets his jaw broken as well, along with a few other bones.

I was going to say I hope Galahad fights him next (not for reasons of how his career could benefit)

By December 2017 / January 2018 Rigo could potentially clean out the Uk Super Bantamweight scene and make a pretty penny in the process.
Kid Galahad > Gavin McDonnell > Jamie McDonnell > Scott Quigg > Carl Frampton...

Quigg and Frampton will never take it, Jamie McDonnell probably would though
