He's sublime. Martinez sucks though, and there is alot of truelly outstanding talent around at the moment with GGG and Roman picking up from Pac and Floyd. A real great fighter also needs a great contemporary rival.

I wouldn't say Martinez sucks. But I get you. Loma's dismantling of Russell was extremely impressive. And Russell definitely doesn't suck. But time will tell. Seeing a how Walters had blatantly ducked him speaks volumes.

Wish Mikey Garcia would get his stuff straight. He and Loma would be an awesome fight.

Lomachenko is pretty damn good no question about it. Personally speaking I don't know about all time. Today,I'd definitely put Lomachenko right up there with GGG. I'm talking about overall, all around skill. The fundamentals.

I don't think anyone can deny he looks the part. From a fundamental standpoint, he's as good as they come. Who you fight plays the biggest role in your historical standing in boxing, though. We have to wait and see if he'll even get the big fights, because right now it doesn't look like too many fighters want any part of him.

Somebody like Orlando Canizales looked the part in the late 80s/early 90s, and set the all time record for Bantamweight title defenses. Unfortunately, he didn't face off against the type of opposition that many of the other great Bantams did, so you rarely see him listed among them at the top. Talent wise, he was arguably as good as any.

I admire Loma's ambition, though. He wants all the biggest fights, and he wants them as soon as possible. That sort of mentality should see him surpass someone like Canizales.

We'll see. I'm a big fan.

Smashing fighter. If I ever see him in the frozen food isle Al smash him though.

Had food poisoning this weekend, slept through the fight the other night, hopefully they'll repeat it this evening.

He looked VERY Good.

He is something else altogether. Just another level of boxing yet unseen.

I love the way he steps around his opponent to create angles and then smashes them while avoiding getting hit.

You guys did see Floyd/Corrales right?

Lomachenko is something special. But he needs to be in against higher level opponents before he gets "best ever" talks.

It's strange how he's not getting the full Top Rank star push ...

He needs to start speaking English, at least a broken kind ala Golovkin. He speaks Russian though instead of Ukrainian, so maybe he is linguistically dumb.

Don't feel bad man. I was one of those guys that couldn't stand all this Loma-Love after only 6 bouts as a professional. I thought that it was just HBO trying to make a box office soldier out of him. After last night, i'm all in. That was just absolutely masterful and honestly couldn't believe what I was watching so i rewatched two more times since last night. GGG is still my #1 P4P but now i'm thinking that Kovalev might be bumped to #3 after that performance. Just the way he moves in there and the angles he can throw from, so impressive.

How the heck did Salido beat Lomachenko btw? I saw the fight but i still can't believe it happened. Did it really happen?

Lomachenko looked pretty good, but Martinez looked terribly outclassed in there.

Need to see him against some better opposition, because Martinez presented virtually zero threat, he looked beaten as soon as the bell went.

It's a shame Lomachenko is at 130 now. I still think Rigondeaux would provide his stiffest test otherwise.

Loma will never see 140, that's the minimum you'll ever see Garcia at again.

You were so eager to tell how us Russell improved and would beat Loma in a rematch, even though the only fight he had between the decisive Loma loss and the Gonzo win was a decision over Chris Martin, but are you hesitant to acknowledge that Loma may have gotten significantly better?

What is your issue with boxers from Europe and former Soviet Asian countries? You seem hyper-critical of them and are very reluctant to give them credit they deserve. I understand that you think some are overrated, and in certain cases I agree, but your constant bellyaching about and putdowns of them isn't any better.

Go back a bit i have stated Lomachenko is one of my favorite European fighters and was cheering for him when he beat Russell.

Has Russell improved yup he has.

Has Loma improved yes he has too but its barely been two yrs since Salido beat him and in response to TS saying Loma is the "best" fighter he's ever seen, its comical especially given his best win just came against a very ordinary c level fighter in Martinez.

Not a Russell fan but i do think he would beat Loma in a rematch, with that said again Loma is my favorite fighter out of all the top euro fighters today.

If TS was that impressed by lomas win last night well then he must have been head over heels when Rigo whooped Donaire who was a legit p4per at the time and knocking everyone out cold.
