I might have done a thread on this in the past but have forgotten so apologies if so .... however ....


I know Errol Spence Jr gets all the hype as the prospect coming up in the welterweight division and understandably so - however, I really rate Vasquez, I think he's actually faster than Spence (particularly foot speed) and he has decent boxing IQ and power aswell. I think he's a dark horse in the division.

I'm curious to here others thoughts on him?

He's solid. Evidently he turned down an eliminator with Spence.disagree on him doing anything better than Errol.

Yeah I know he lost a few times to Spence in the amateurs aswell. I think I just prefer the look of his style for some reason but that's just a personal preference lol.

Him and Spence will eventually clash, like they did in the amateurs. Hopefully they both get a shot at the top guys before that though. I am impressed with both, and think both would beat several of the top 10 guys.

I like the look of him but he hasn't had that real stand out win yet. Shame the Aaron Martinez fight was very disspointing. Hope he gets a solid fight next.

Majority draw. I haven't seen the fight yet but by all accounts I've seen, Diaz deserved the win.

I got him at +450. That was a ridiculous line. I'm kicking myself for not laying a lot more.

Never knew what people saw in him, jewboy gets a pass though coz he's a funny fornicator and was blinded by biasness. he can still have a decent career but he wont be winning a world title.
