Rigondeaux turned down a chance to move up and challenge Lomachenko at Featherweight... Rigo is getting old and he's not doing crap... Lomachenko beat superb boxer Gary Russell in his 3rd pro fight, winning virtually every round - and now Loma's the only boxer in Fistic History to become a 2-Division World Champion in 7 fights... Gary Russell would beat Rigondeaux easily at Featherweight... Likewise, if Lee Selby or Leo Santa Cruz dare to fight Russell they'll get knocked out.

I agree. Golovkin gets underated and overlooked. The guy is a middleweight, he has amazing power, his footwork is brilliant, not Lara Olympic running brilliant, boxing and punching while moving in and out brilliant. He can counter, fight on the front foot, fight defensively but most of all he always tries to bring excitement. He has superb ring generalship and controls the ring superbly and has reduced some seriously good fighters and boxers to also rans, I think he has a better shot against ward than Kovalev and would actually fancy him over Kovalev. I used to say he was a poor man's Tszuy but after seeing him destroy Daniel Geale, a very good boxer who, until he got destroyd by GGG, was highly touted and very accomplished, I now say Tszuy (a favourite boxer of mine) is a poor man's GGG.

I've been involved in boxing for close to thirty years and I have not seen many like him in my time. I'm sad for the many on these forums that bag and underrate Golovkin as they don't get to enjoy his work but all the other fighters I know feel the same about him as I do, says a lot about some of the fools who get on here, eh!?

I have to agree with sids and Dberry here, GGG is a joy to watch, I love his patience as he coolly hunts down his opponents. A more complete predator than Tszyu.
Ain't got anything bad to say against Lomanchenko, can't help but be fixated watching him fight.

I would love to see him fight Gary Russell Jr again. I think he has improved a lot from their first fight. Not saying he would win in a rematch but the fight would be fantastic to watch for my own selfish reasons as a boxing fan.

In terms of current fighters.

Roman Gonzalez and Terence Crawford both deserve a mention as well.

I can not name one active today. Lomachenko stalks like Duran, has defensive reflexes and hand speed like Mayweather, and can throw every punch in the book with accuracy.
