I know a load of people hate it & fair enough but that's just the way things are.

I remember when Sky first started (I believe that Bruno v some bloke named Mike Tyson was the first big show) and everyone was up in arms about that. Now every other house has it.

I used to HATE PPV but after living in Southern California for a few years my views changed. Basically the only proper boxing fans down there are Mexicans (there's one or two who ain't but that's pretty much it) and I would go to friends houses for PPV fights. They'd cost around $60 which is 40 odd quid. We'd all toss in a tenner or so & bring some beer & it was a right laugh. After the bout the WII would come out & I'd school everyone in the Sweet Sicence

It ended up cheaper than a night out & we'd have a party a few times a year.

I think people in the UK & Ireland need to embrace this idea. It ends up cheap & you have a laugh with your mates.

And I'm sure everyone agrees with me

I understand what you're saying but most, if not all of Sky's recent PPV cards haven't been PPV worthy..

Seems a lot of people do embrace the idea.

There's still enough of them shelling out for the drivel these cards put out to keep it going.

Be here for at least the next 5 years with Hearns contract with Sky.

The card is a joke. There is not 1 50/50 fight ( Murray has done nothing at super middle to suggest to me he beats groves) to look out for although Hibberts opponent I know nothing of so could be OK. I'm not against PPV but I'm dead against this one. Il take me £20 and stick it on Northern Ireland to beat Wales at least that way il lose my money with a little bit of interest

If I bought this PPV and invited my mates around to chip in, they'd laugh in my face and tell me they were watching the Portugal-Croatia game instead. And quite right too!

If ppv can be justified, then how can anyone justify having sky sports? You don't see any other sport than boxing being ppv its a disgrace

PPV is ok if it's a massive fight with a good undercard something like Fury vs AJ with kell brook vs broner on the undercard paying to see AJ have his 17th fight against a fighter i'ave never seen isn't good enough for PPV .

With the Internet and many other ways of viewing, I'm not sure PPV is the future. There are so many alternative free ways to watch, if individuals are priced out through the 'legit' channels. I think if PPV is to survive, the price must come down to about £5 a show.

I didn't buy this one. I'm watching it on Kodi with Polish commentary. Flawless picture. Really miss Nick Halling that's the only thing

Anyway, I agree with you if you want to buy it then buy it. What's the issue? This is the first one I've not bought and if my mate never updated my fire stick I'd have probably caved and bought this. I very rarely get out because I'm in with the kids at weekend and buying the boxing, a few cans of beer and a takeaway is a hell of a lot cheaper than a night out.

I wonder if Benn the younger will have learned some lessons after the Keleher fight?

My sentiments exactly,my mrs has been out since half 11 on some wine tasting jolly,i was worried she'd come home pished and start her shite during the boxing but thankfully she came home told me the same story 10 times about her pal being a bitch and now she's buggered off to bed

Sickening KO there,definite improvement in Benn and not just because the 1st round KO,he did look a lot more composed and less gung ho,brilliant 3 punch combo to end things,i wont get carried away but a step in the right direction

You pay for Sky, then you pay extra for this ONE BILL & they still call you a caahnt by forcing adverts down my neck.

Think last night was the first time I ain't bought the PPV. Instead logged onto Facebook joined a few boxing groups and low and behold a few kind gents were live streaming the show on there..
Picture and sound wasn't the best and I had to put up with someone's coughing in the background, but it saved me 16/17 quid.. Whatever the price was.

The only PPV I have regretted NOT buying, ever, was Khan - Prescott. And only because I had to watch Khan get splattered on low def stream when I would've enjoyed him getting smashed in high def....
