Danny Williams' bout with Mairis Breidis was an exhibition. Danny was paid to lose, and if you watch the bout, the punches are very light. I know Danny is past it, but he isnt THAT past it.

Danny told me himself that the fight was agreed to be an exhibition that ended in two rounds, then the next thing he knows its up on boxrec.

So please correct this mistake on both Dannys and Mairis' records.

Danny also boxed Luan Krasniqi last year in another bout where he agreed to go down for charity. Its to please the home fans. You didn't include that fight on his record so please take the Breidis fight off.

It was an exhibition, don't ask me why, but just like this fight below, the Breidis fight shouldn't go on the record. You can see Danny acting when he falls theatrically. He has never been counted out in 74 fights. But for this exhibition he started to fall all over the place. In real life he always gets up. Even when caught with bombs. Luans ppl paid Danny to go down in two rounds, but as Luan was landing such silly shots Danny stayed up till the 4th then went down with shots that were not that hard, but the fans got their moneys worth.

Did they announce it as an exhibition fight? If you can show me footage where it was announced as an exhibition then I will request for it to be removed.

The thing is, Danny is known for being very truthful, painfully truthful. He admitted back in 2009 that he was shot in the build up to a fight. So when he says this was an exhibition he wouldn't lie about it. He said the Krasniqi fight was an exhibition for charity and what do you know, it is now known as being an exhibition. So he was telling the truth there and wouldn't lie for this. He accepts his losses and isn't bothered about his record. But its only correct that if the fight is an act, and an exhibition that it should be taken off. I don't have posters for the event but the punches landed were so light that it backs up what Danny said.

He wasn't paid to take dives in real fights, they are exhibitions so its like when Muhammad Ali would pretend to get ko'd. Its just Ali made a big joke of it.

Here is full footage of the fight. You can see in round one Briedis is throwing only hard to the body whilst he only throws taps to the head. Then in rd two, the round its supposed to end he throws fast shots to the head but they aren't hard. Danny when he gets hurt wobbles all over the place. On all the knockdowns he goes down and gets up without any wobble, he has no blood from the shots. He also doesn't usually go down 4 times from light punches, if he gets stopped its usually from solid shots and he is wobbly. He doesn't just go down, he gets belted around abit first.

Breidis fought a prizefighter tournament. that has never been accepted by boxrec.

as for danny? if you want to see light punching look at the Carl Baker taps that nearly knocked him out.

And as I said, Danny has no problem accepting his over 20 losses, but this one he does because he agreed beforehand that as its an exhibition he has to go down in the second. He did so 4 times and was never hit with any bombs.

With all respect to Danny removing this 'fight' doesn't do anything to make his post Chisora 'record' look any less dire.

you can't blame fighters going to Europe for the journey man route. 40 hour job 18k a year for a normal job, take a few dive/lose on purpose and get paid a lot more.

It might not make his record look better but thats not the point. The point is that the fight was an agreed exhibition then they go and put it as a real fight. In ufc they don't even accept the ultimate fighter show fights on the record. In boxing exhibitions aren't counted. If boxrec hasn;t added Dannys fight with Luan Krasniqi then why have they added this fight? They were both pre agreed exhibitions. If you were unaware then it is easy to see them as real fights but they both went quite easy and made it like a spar then after a few rounds the knockdowns start. Its entertaining without the fighters getting hurt.

Also, Dannys fight with Dominic Negus was a real fight but it was unlicensed. I don't see why those fights don't count. Danny should have a record of 49-24-0-1

Your having a laugh, no disrespect but you don't seem to know much about boxing... As you said above its unlicenced so how could it got on his record? Weather or not Danny took dives he still lost them fights.

He didn't lose the fight if it was a fake fight. They were pulling their punches and it was done to raise money for charity.

They where Pulling there punches and he still got KNOCK out
