Why do Showtime bother to show Hatton, Calzaghe Scott Harrison, if they will never fight over in america and they are always fighting B level fighters over here?

A longstanding relationship between allegedly and Jay Larkin?
Bear in mind it is creating potential opponents for showtime fighter, though with the end of long term contracts at showtime, this probably isn't as vital as it once was.

Probably because they're that rarity in boxing: white guys who can actualy fight a bit.
Hatton, because there's not too many American fighters who can generate that sort crowd and atmosphere. They love his Blue Moon ring entrance too. You'd have to go back to the days of Barry McGuigen to get that sort of made-for-tv atmosphere.
Hopefully, the Harris fight will make up for all the dud Hatton fights they've had to put up with too.
