Sakio Bika is 37 and hasn't fought for well over a year. I wonder if he will go again?

I think he would be at a point where if it makes money it makes sense to fight on.

Sadly money usually decides when boxers have had enough.

I would hope not because he'd just be a name at this stage. You mentioned that he hasn't fought in a year, well he hasn't won in three! I was pleased when he picked up a world title, I always liked Bika he was rough and ready, but I can't see him making an impression again...

Sakio had knee surgery and was only just cleared to run again on Friday. He has written this year off but will fight again next year.

It's an exaggeration to claim he climbed to the top of the sporting world, but I think fight fans everywhere respect Sakio Bika and all know he was a real tough SOB and hard to deal with.

To this day I've never seen anyone give Andre Ward a tougher fight.

Far more exaggerated claims than that have been made to sell movies and documentaries.

Bika certainly climbed close to the top. He did win a world title and that is most people's measure of the top.

And he went 12 Stevenson. As hard as nails Haymon knows he can throw him in with anyone and give them fits.

I assume the post was made on August 2 not the date is next challenge would be. Anyway it seems he will be fighting on.
