Fury vs Klit, no one ever see's what Fury did in that fight, yes, not many punches were thrown but the way Fury controlled and executed the game plan it was pretty much technically flawless for Fury.

Trinidad always comes to mind when he fought, technically brilliant the way he threw his shots.

People won’t like this much but when Chris Eubank came to fight Nigel Benn, I was so impressed by his poise and grace early in that fight. So much for “underdog or scared” anything that came his way early he avoided and looked to return with interest.

I also liked the way that Marco Antonio Barrera didn’t fall over for Hamed. I know people say it wasn’t the same Hamed but Barrera outclassed and outmanned him.

Absolutely. He then had to show a lot of heart to come through the middle rounds when Benn was marauding and hurting him to the body.

Leonard/Benitez pitted 2 technically brilliant boxers together,also TBF Hagler,Hearns and Duran were all technically brilliant too

McCallum v Kalambay 1 and 2.

The greatest technical fight I've ever seen was James Toney vs Mike McCallum 1 ... Toney was the super confident Middleweight Champion, undefeated in 29 fights, with tremendous wins over Michael Nunn and Reggie Johnson... McCallum had been around longer at 42-1.. he reversed his only loss to Sumbu Kalambay. He had great KO wins over Julian Jackson, and Don Curry while beating Harol Graham, Steve Collins, Michael Watson, and David Braxton by decision as a road warrior.. McCallum was still on the edge of his prime at 34 and it was a very hard fought draw -- the very best of their 3 fights. Toney won World Titles all the the way up to Cruiserweight as he got fat an lazy later in his career -- but he was never as good as his Middleweight prime.

And stopped Braxton as well

Jermain Taylor-Bernard Hopkins

I thought Taylor looked absolutely outstanding both nights.

Taylor did a HORRIBLE job... He was outboxed, outpunched, and out-scored... Hopkins landed more, better, and harder punches in both fights... The fights were rigged and Duane Ford was even called on the carpet before the Boxing Commission to explain his weird scoring of Hopkins-Taylor 1.

Yeah... That was a great fight wasn't it??? Another gem was Salvador Sanchez vs Ruben Castillo. The only thing marring it was the lack of an expert commentator... Castillo was 47-1. His only loss when he fought 1 division up to the much bigger Alexis Arguello. Sanchez only lost 1 very early fight.

You stole my thunder. I was going to post this fight. It was indeed one of the most technical fights in history.

I also think that Duran vs Leonard I was a technical fight, too. It was just overshadowed by an intense brawl. Both of them showed their skills that night in Montreal.

Leonard vs Hearns I and Hearns vs Benitez were technical fights in my view.

I haven't got long to post, but the first fight/performance, that came into mind for me, was Lewis V Tyson.

Of course, Tyson was past his best, but at the time nobody knew just what he had left.

Tyson really went for it in the first round, to which Lewis stood up to him and put him on the back foot. After that, Lewis completely dominated him, turned him, kept his distance and jabbed him until he was almost quitting in the corner.

Only when Tyson was well and truly "ripe" did Lewis go for the kill.

For me, technically, Lewis was like surgeon that night.

Whitaker/Mcgirt & hearns/hill

- Nobody can find a greater p4p, high end technical fight than Pryor vs Arguello.

That featured more ebb and flow and heart than I can expect to ever see in my lifetime as the two took turns ripping into each other using their science, skills, and experience. Pryor seldom needed to use his superior boxing skills because of his awkward style and power. Arguello seldom worked up a sweat he was so finally tuned, yet here he had to use every ounce of his being as did Pryor.

Regardless of the so called black bottle before the last round, any oral ingestion takes at least 15 min to kick in. Instead the final round started slow since both were exhausted and hurting. Pryor stood off a little longer before an alltime leaping hook that left Alexis helpless on the ropes to be obliterated.

Nothing but the highest regard for both.
