Heavyweight
Guillermo Jones 40 3 2
vs
Garrett Wilson 16 10 1

Jones won by decision... he was as expected in terrible shape... looked like an old Larry Holmes physique wise... Did ok but struggled to finish at a high pace with Wilson landing flush hooks. He preferred to let himself hit in the last seconds than moving away because he was exhausted at the end of the 6th...

Had a feeling Guillermo would stop training with a move to heavyweight.

He didn't train much anyway nor does he fight much. This new venture at heavyweight is not likely to end well.

It still puzzles me how Jones was ever a Welterweight.

the WBA told him to fight at heavy because they wouldn't rank him at cruiser after the lebedev fiasco

Our friend Galen Brown was on the undercard vs undefeated heavy Bryan 17-0. He ran and clowned a little which made it entertaining. Survived some early barrage where he got pressured in the ropes and his chin saved him. Good fight for Brown though, did what he had to do and went the distance.

I did fight,he was a undefeated fighter but in my opioion is pretty durable but not aggressive enough to be ranked as high as he is,but I live to fight another day and wish him the best in the future

He looked pretty good against Derric Rossy last year. He needs to be more active. King just doesn't keep him busy enough.

There was a camera crew there the whole time in neutral corner but not sure who was recording it

Where would you rank him compared some of your more recent opponents?

Good job Galen. Please don't stay in the game too long though if you start taking too much punishment.

I am one step closer to retirement I am 35 but can't be taking beatings that is for sure. I have been fortunate to have as long of a career as I have had and not be punchy but I know for sure it only takes one punch to cause permanent damage. Been talking to the wife and if I don't start training I will have to hang them up so we will see what the future holds, but I will keep everyone updated on my plans.
