Total mismatch, can't see anything other than Allen getting hurt pretty badly.

Why? Even Europes worst journeymen don't get badly hurt against Whyte.

Whyte by KO in a good scrap. Is this for a title?

I thought this could be a good fun fight, but after listening to David Allen in that video he doesn't seem overly optimistic of an upset.

He seems like a nice lad, it's a shame that he hasn't been given a proper camp and the chance for the fight to get some good exposure.

I see dillian winning this fight very easy

Allen has a poor record and is only a journeyman

Looking forward to it though

I'm going for a Allen win I don't think Whyte is that good.

anybody think "The White Rhino" is worth a tenner to come out on top?

Al be having a 5 pound double Allen and Josh wale who is about 10/1 against gamel yafai think both have a good chance of winning and it's a good outside double

I think this could end up being an untidy stinker.

If it's anything like Whytes last fight you'll probably need a few Prozac afterwards!

Anyone know why Whyte and Hearn refused the tarver fight?

Tarver failed a drugs test after the Cunningham fight.

Whyte by KO

I actually don't rate Whyte. I think he's pretty average but Allen just looks nothing special at all.

I know very little on Allen. Whyte is Eurpoean level in my opinion. I can see him having a very similar career to that of Chisora. Fringe contender for a world title but will never get one. He can cash in on a few fights over the next few years. Joshua would probably stop Whyte within 3 if they fought again.

I think he's be unlikely to do as well as Chisora, he's quite a bit behind where Chisora was at the same age, and number of fights. By the time Chisora was 28 and 18 fights in he had won the British title against Williams, the Commonwealth against Sexton, should have won the EBU title against a pretty highly regarded prospect in Helenius, and became one of the few to take Vitali the distance, while putting up a surprisingly decent fight.

Whyte has beaten a couple cruiserweight journeymen.
