Charlie Edwards

Some one on twitter mentioned that he was possibly set to be in a world title fight...anyone got any details on this one?
Gonzalez's vacating is likely to lead to Nawaphon Vs Hernandez (apparently 12,000,000 Baht being put up for that by the Thai's team. approx £240K) so I don't see how Edwards fits in there.Naandrew wrote:Hmm just had a look myself Hearn is teasing saying announcement for a British fighter having a world title shot Monday and a dozen guesses and you won't know.

Gonzalez hahahahaha ......... It does sound like he is moving up to Superfly for Cuadras which I like.
Estrada ... He is top level sounds like he has Nietes moving up to fight himnext.
Not proper world champion but Ioka won't travel from Japan for it.
Only leaves Casimero who beat Rueneroung recently that second fight is all I have seen of him. He could be realistic .
You know your lower weights surely Edwards has no chance he turned down Andrew Selby for the British FFS.
I actually think Edwards has some talent though.
Edwards is what he is and that's a novice. A good novice but a novice. I would take Cuadras, Ruenerong and Casimero to best him. I'd take Selby to do him as well as it goes. Obviously Gonzalez beats most in or around that weight. He should beat up that Patel prick first.Naandrew wrote:Hmm just had a look myself Hearn is teasing saying announcement for a British fighter having a world title shot Monday and a dozen guesses and you won't know.
