first half of the year was as bad as it gets, ultimayt shyt

but now, the 2 best =cw, lh and sl will fight each other + GGG vs the second best ww in the world.

Hopefully we'll have Joshua-Stiverne and Wilder-Povetkin.

2016 is still on track to be the worst year of Boxing I've ever seen, but I do look forward to all of the fights mentioned.

i think with the second half of the year, it will be a good year. rarely you see the top 2 boxers in 1 division go at it, in the next 5 month it will happen 3 times, impressiv.

also with potential anthony joshua vs joseph parker, you would again have some top boxers going at it.

maybe around december lomachenko gets a shot against walthers or vargas, any top super featherweight.

In the words of Larry Merchant "For real Boxing fans there are only good years and better years"...so yes it may well wind up being a Good year because I love Boxing, and I get all the enjoyment out of it I can at every opportunity, but the 2nd half of this year would have to be absolutely insanely good for it not to wind up as the worst year of Boxing I've ever seen.

u right giga, 2/2 realy has to be special to rescue the horrible year it has been so far

2016 was supposed to be THE year, but in fact everything got delayed like hell, imo, it's sad to see.

It's been shockingly bad so far. Second half of the year has to be better.

I finally broke down and took a look at this thread. 2/2 2016? I thought WTF is so great with that date, other than groundhogs day? Then I realized the author was Cheppy.
