Could someone please help with the following question.

Did the Kray twins (Ronnie and Reggie) ever box as professionals and if so what were their records?

Yes, they boxed as pros, but to quote Mickey Duff, who made matches for them (they were managed by Jack Jordan): "Ronnie was really useless. It was hard to find him a win. Reggie was more useful, but only in comparison to Ronnie."

I believe the twins had another brother (Charlie???) did he box as a pro as well???

One of the biggest falicies in the world about those two cheery cheeky east end laddies who looked after their own and loved their mum, was that they were boxers. Sure they both had a few amateur fights and by all accounts reggie wasnt too bad fighting 7 fights as a pro lightweight and winning them all but that was it.

They enjoyed the company of boxers and were freinds of many partly due to their upringing in the east end of london and the influence fo their grandfather, Jimmy 'Cannonball' Lee and the fact they thought it was 'glamerous', doing their 'hard men' image no harm to be seen with boxers

Thanks for this information guys, just had a look at their records!

Wish my scanner was working. I have their book "our story", there's some photo's of them with Sonny Liston, Ted "kid" Lewis and others, a few of posters with their names on.
Good read actually, quite frank overall if you discount the twaddle they wrote about what happened to the mad axeman and the omission of any torture stories.
