Hell of a performance for such a "novice", apparently Jeff Mayweather thinks he'd hold his own with Roman Gonzalez already!

An excellent result for Waseem who displayed a very busy jab. He remained cool and focus under the explosive barrage of pucnhes from Oliva and retaliated with the jab and straight punch arsenal. Impressive prospect to keep an eye on. Nothing too flashy but just good and composed all around.

But let<s not exagerate... Waseem did have a busy effective jab but didn't display any type of pop that would be needed to win rounds or gain some kind of respect vs Roman.

Still a very gifted cool fighter imo

Skilled fighter with very a good win. Not to be picky, but I was there for the fight and would not label his jab as "busy".

He constantly used the jab as a filler, an instigating tool & a pressure control weapon. I thought it was a big part of his arsenal and something that bothered oliva
