Very bad timing, with Kovalev-Ward apparently in the works for November. Why didn't the WBA order it several months ago?

This would've been one of the better fights out there for Kov with a non-Haymon guy.

Maybe the WBA is doing it now because they know Kovalev has the fight with Ward lined up - they could be using it an excuse to strip him of the belt.

They are on Braehmer's payroll. He wants to get the super belt without fighting Kovalev.

That's hilarious. The only fans who would know or care about the relevance of the 'super belt' would know kovalev is the champ anyway.

Needless to say it would be funny if ward pulled out and kovalev called their bluff

Braehmer would get murdered. He would be in front of Kovalev too often. Not the mover or athlete Chilemba is to get the hell out of the way.

Braehmer has had the paper belt since December 2013 why wasn't this fight mandated last year ?

It's a ploy to give Braehmer the super belt or step aside money from Kovalev Ward which they know is on.

Kovalev should just line up a fight with him before ward and just to stick it to the WBA. I'd be loling.

I think Kov would beat him up fairly easily, but I'm not sure there are many better opponents at 175 for him that he hasn't beaten/aren't with Haymon. Shabranskyy might be one of the other best realistic opponents.

Is this a joke and when are they expecting this to happen exactly ?
Way I see it is Kovalev should tell them whatever they want hear as long as it doesn't jeopardize the Ward v Kovalev November date, it's the biggest fight in the sport this year.
