Hopefully Crawford continues of this path of opposition consistently. This performance reminded me a bit of when Floyd fought Corrales. Many similarities between those two bouts.

Roach commented recently about Crawford looking somewhat like a young Floyd, so didn't want to put Manny in with him right away. What level can he reach? Time will tell. When he meets Spence, it just may be as far as he goes.

Yeah, agree 100%. Crawford could probably have got the stoppage but I'm loathe to criticise any aspect of the performance because it was so dominant. If Pacquiao falls through, who'd do you think will be next for him?

What a fight Spence v Crawford could be down the line. I hope boxing politics doesn't get in the way of this one.

In reality, Crawford will probably take a lighter match up for his next fight. I'll be surprised if he doesn't. I'd like to see him move up, but I just read that if he fights Manny, it will have to be at 140. So, I don't see him moving up. There really isn't much of anything for him at 140. Possibly Eduard Troyanovsky? Not sure.

Crawford and Spence are the future. Promoters should plant the seed early and build it up as big as possible. If they meet early enough they could have two or three fights if the first one goes well.

Once Spence wins a title, the clamour will begin. But if we're talking Spence v Crawford, where do guys like Thurman, Porter and Garcia sit among all this? They all need to fight (they won't but I'm a dreamer lol)

Not any time soon unless he has to go up to get a fight vs Pac. But even then he has said Pac would have to come down to 140 if he wants to fight. However, considering that Pac is the bigger draw he may need to go to 147 if he wants the Pacman fight bad enough.

Spence-Crawford could be a megafight in 2018. Errol has loads of potential and should win a world title by 2017. By then Crawford could well be at 147 with a world title as well, so it could be a blockbuster unification matchup by 2018.
