I have no idea how this will play out, because neither fighter are "officially" involved in the WBA's tournament.
Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.Rob3_142 wrote:That and Lucas Browne is set to be suspended for 6 months....Enlightened-One wrote:I don't know. ....then again, might fit into the time frame of how frequently Haye fights.
Browne got stripped of the title, and I think Chagaev did too since he's retired.Enlightened-One wrote:Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.Rob3_142 wrote:That and Lucas Browne is set to be suspended for 6 months....Enlightened-One wrote:I don't know. Browne will probably prefer to face Oquendo for an eventual crack at the WBA title, but Haye is a big draw in the UK, so the big payday may tempt him also.
I’m not quite sure I understand your point. Perhaps I’ve misunderstood, because your comments don’t seem to relate to mine?BitPlayer wrote:Browne got stripped of the title, and I think Chagaev did too since he's retired.Enlightened-One wrote:Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.
