If you look at Crolla's record, it is insane

Kieran Farrell (I'm sure Farrell was the fave)

Andy Morris - Morris the fave

Mathews 2 - Mathews fave

Gavin Rees - Rees fave

John Murray - Murray fave

Perez one - Perez fave, and Crolla should have got it

Perez two Not sure on the odds, but on here, most thought Crolla had missed his chance.

Barrios - Barrios fave

Who says he can't do it against Linares?

Froch was underdog and written off alot

Crolla is a good mention, although he didn't beat Matthews and I think he was the favourite for the Perez rematch. I'd also be surprised if he were an underdog against very untested Farrell, who looked like an area level guy to me. Isn't he a slight favorite against Linares by the way?

Hopkins was a dog at points against Tito, Pavlik, Tarver, Pascal, and Cloud.

Froch won three fights as an underdog if I recall correctly, and he was only a very slight one against Bute.

Sam Eggington won a succession of fights as underdog before finally overreaching himself against Bradley Skeete

Unfortunately he didn't get the win in that one, merely a respectable draw.

Crolla was favourite going in against Farrell; he was off-form, but had faced better opposition.

Salido was a 4-1/5-1 favorite against Cruz. Obviously the attention was mainly on Cruz, but I don't think there was widespread delusion about his ability.

Incidentally, I loved his wins over JuanMa Lopez. I jumped off my chair when dropped him in the first bout, and I think those fights ended up ruining Lopez.
