How does everyone think the rematch would play out? Frampton looked very good on Saturday but I think there's better to come. Quigg is a big SBW so the jump up shouldn't really affect him too much I wouldn't have thought.

I think Carl would win a lot more convincing second time around possibly by late stoppage or wide on the cards. I think Quigg would take a lot more chances and that could be his downfall. Interesting fight if it were to happen. The extra weight might give Quigg an extra gear also and he's already super fit so you never know.

I was impressed with Carl's stamina the other night, which means he was probably draining to stay at SBW. I thought Quigg was getting the better of Frampton towards the end of the fight but if Carl's stamina has improved he may win wider, if Quigg opened up earlier he might be in more danger too, personally I reckon we'd see a similar result.

Could be some time before Quigg gets another shot v Frampton.

Maybe he could take on Rigo? A win there would catapult him to the front of the line for some big fights! Mighty task but stranger things have happened. Plus it should be an easy enough fight to make.

Yeah maybe he could but Id think a fight with Selby might be better if hes moving up. Frampton likely only to fight him in Belfast now cant see Hearn allowing it

If Quigg is super fit why did he not throw more, push the tempo and give Frampton a much better test?

Quigg really needs to prove himself to warrant another shot at Frampton and I don't think he can because the Featherweight division is a great division.

Quigg is super fit mate. He has a great engine. I have no idea why he didn't do more in the first six against Carl. I don't know if it was the tactics or what but it was very strange. He got his jaw broke early as well. Carl must be a nightmare to fight against. He judges the distance so well and is a spiteful counter puncher. If they were to fight again I think Carl beats him more convincingly and they should demand it's in Belfast.

Carl's struggle to get down to Super Bantam took something from him and he beat Quigg (and broke his jaw).

If Quigg fought him at Featheweight, Carl would hurt him even more so.

Santa Cruz never got going to mid rounds either, maybe Carls footwork better than ppl think, I can't see Quigg beating Carl in rematch he just not good enough, fair play to Frampton , he wanted LSC a long time n proved why.

I'm a fan of both but I'd hate to see a rematch between the two. Perhaps in a few fights/years as circumstances change, but no chance so soon, no selling point for the rematch either..

Mentally I don't think Quigg will ever be the same man again after his loss. I doubt we'll see him fighting for a proper world title again

Yes, Carl has excellent footwork, that and the feints and head movement, made it very difficult for LSC to get a bead on him, it was only when Carl became more static and stood right in front of him without moving, that he was able to line him up, not sure whether that was because Carl fancied it, or he was tiring from the movement.

There was a point in the fight where I thought Carl could have put his foot on the gas and really tried to hurt LSC.

listening to him after the fight I honestly think he traded to make the fight more a classic, kept saying he wanted it to be remembered, risky thing to do if that the case, was easily out boxing Cruz early rounds. Thought he should have jumped on him in the second.

i put the blame on gallagher, he has all his lads box that way rather than letting them think for themselves and boxing instinctively
