Thus making a truly crappy nights boxing even crappier.

Oh man.

Williams better make a fight of it. If Earl v Murray and Tyson KO 1 is the sum value of the £16 I'll be less than pleased.

You need to work on making a proper fist first - is 5 days preperation enough? ;)

Damn, I was actually looking forward to that. Is Skelton fighting a bum now?

By the way, did anyone watch big brother last friday when The Slickman Victor got evicted?
Davina: You came into the house and you ruffled some feathers, do you regret it?
Victor (Slick): No! I didn't want to come into the house and just be a walking pulse like some of the others in there. I didn't want to be like the guys Audley Harrison fights!

SN have just sent round the PR - Skelton has a VIRUS.

This is ridiculous, this is going to be one of the shittest SKY PPV's ever  I am desperately trying not to buy it, i know i will probably cave in but i am trying not to on principle. How they can charge £16 for this crap is infuriating, take away one name from the whole night's Boxing - TYSON. And what have you got left? A Channel 5 bill on the early hours of Tuesday morning

JUst imagine if Earl KO2 Murray and Tyson KO1 Williams.

What will mess's Dempsey, Piper (aled jones), McGuigan and probably Julius Francis talk about for hours on end in pre-fight and post fight debate.

Dempsey or Piper as host will have one hell of a job filling six hours.

i wont bother now, up at my folks for the weekend with the missus anyway so staying up til 4 am on my own doesnt really appeal and will trash the saturday.
I would have gone for it before probably taping the tyson fight and watched the undercard with my old man til say 1-2 over a dram or two but to be honest i dont think its worth 15 quid and wasting the next day.
and lets face it pretty selfish if I did.
shame tho i kinda wanna give danny my support !!!

Somebody said that the Skelton Vs Cole fight was off last week, there was a link posted by Bennie (I think) to the Bedford Today (or somat like it) saying that the fight was not going ahead due to visa problems. Sky then built the fight up massively on Ringside on Thursday hence attracting alot more people to buy the ppv contest (partly due to the Skelton vs Cole fight) and now the fight has been cancelled.

Does anybody think that Sky were aware that the fight was not going to go ahead, but tried to keep it quiet in order to enhance their viewing figures and coffers?

How do you do it Holmes?

Chambers, it would be easy to reach that conclusion.

It might be wrong but it certainly seems a very convenient chain of events from the sidelines doesn't it?

dunno mate but Sn's site and skysports state that the visa problems were rumoured and the fight was still on, at the end of the day its offr either way innit.
Irrespective of the reasons which is a shame as I would have watched it but now ill wait for the reruns I think.

Vote with your fingers! Dont press that red button. Williams will be going down with little resistance despite all his big talk, and Earl v Murray doesnt look like a distance affair.

Better off putting the fifteen quid on Tyson KO1 and cleaning up!
