Not sure he can.
After his performance against Shaun Porter he didn't quite go to the back of the line of must see boxers, but his credibility took enough of a dent to take him his name off of my lips for the foreseeable future.
For me Broner needs a solid name opponent but more importantly a good performance win lose or draw.
Look at just the last couple of weeks, Crawford won easily in a boring performance and Frampton moved up taking a massive risk and won in a hugely entertaining fight, out of the 2 boxers who do you think I'd prefer to watch next time ?
It's not so much about the result although that is important, it's about the performance and risk taking involved and Frampton sure surpassed any of the other fighters named in this posting.

First of all he has to beat somebody,there only 4 people on his record he has beaten and there are Khabib Allakhverdiev,John Molina,Antonio Demarco,& Paulie Malignaggi an in my view he lost to Ponce De Leon.If Broner where able to defeat any top guy in the 147 are even at 140,he would gain respect are least beat a top 10 to 25 guy in any division.Second of all he has to improve his skills defensively he takes way to many punches and get some kind of footwork.

By getting his own style and get rid of the hanger-onner's

Beat a good fighter he's not expected to beat.

Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman, Terence Crawford, Pacquiao, Tim Bradley, Lucas Matthysse...anybody like that.

Boxing isn't the reason most disrespect him so his respect (if he ever had any to win back) won't be regained by his actions in the ring.

When was he respected?

The REAL question just requires the removal of the word back...
