The whole world knows Muhammad Ali has died! The entire world knows Joe Frazier has died! All Boxing people pretty much know Ron Lyle has died. Who doesn't know that Ken Norton has died? Willie Pep was a major icon. You would think their isn't too too many who DO NOT KNOW he's GONE? But...Humanity is thick. Boxing has many players. I bet not all that many know really that, Sinan Samil Sam is dead. 31(16)-4(0)-0 career died on Oct. 30, 2015 age 41.
Brett Lally the first pro to defeat John Scully too is GONE.
Their are others. Others whom we all know that YOU, that I..don't yet realize.
So this is going to prompt me to look more at that list. I mean, I'll revisit the BoxRec lists. And go over them more comprehensively this time. And then only leave them alone again!

I didn't know about Sam. He died last year from liver failure, age 41. Was that caused by punches?

The majority of fighters from the 30's, 40's and 50's have passed I would imagine. Though Jake Lamotta and Gene Fullmer are still kicking as far as I know.

Many of the great boxers from previous centuries have died too, like John L. Sullivan.

Trained like he did for the Wlad fight? He was chubby and not in peak shape against Wlad as well. He just caught him early before he ever had a chance to get tired. He was in better shape when he lost to Rahman.

You're talking about Valero, and yes that was the official story, but I've seen the evidence and I don't believe it.

He is in fact yet going strong at 92 or 93.

I'm saying that having dementia is not going strong, even at 92-93 years of age, it's not going strong at any age if you're brain has turned to mush. Sorry if that appears pedantic, but the reality is, he's totally fucked.

Oh, sorry. I only meant that at his age (92+) and being ex boxer at his level that he would be hurt some. What else do you know about his condition.
