Hughie being offered as the opponent for AJ in November, according to Sky & others.

If I can get decent odds I'd have a cheeky bet on Fury on points.

good call, we haven't seen the best of Hughie yet for one reason or another and his style could give Joshua fits if he is ready

He wasn't ready for Whyte not that long ago but now he's ready for AJ? Hughie should take his time. There's no point jumping in too soon. If he takes the punt fair play to him but I think he'll get poleaxed!

I will never forgive Hearn if he makes this fight. Never.

hughie is physically strong enough it would be a quick blow out for AJ

wasnt ready for whyte due to the various ailments he been suffering from, in fact I don't think hes had a fight yet where hes been fully healthy, a big guy with a jab beats AJ all day long and I think peter fury is well aware of that.

I think after Hughie's recent health issues he should have a couple of fights first,however like Taansend,i'd have a few quid for a Fury points win.

I agree,Hughie has skills that would give Joshua fits.

If Hughie was fit it could be interesting. But he's very young, and I think there's a good chaance he'd get overpowered.

Isn't he tied up with the same PED allegations as Tyson though?

Yeah I knew he had a condition that meant he wasn't anywhere near 100%. Why not fight Whyte for the British first? That's sitting vacant at the moment. I've not seen anything from Hughie so far that would suggest he has what it takes to beat AJ. Maybe somewhere down the line but if it happens next I reckon he gets stopped inside 6.

yeah thats the worry hes only had stay busy fights so far so its hard to judge, am assuming peter knows something we don't and must think hes capable of making the jump although british and European title fights would of been an interesting gauge first.

I think he was pretty healthy against Rudenko.

I don't think Hughie is mentally ready for this level yet. Yes, he has the technical ability but at the moment he's too fragile. Give him a couple of years and let him mature into himself. There is no rush, he's a kid.

Whyte is a pal, so can't fight Hughie.

Maybe he does know something? I doubt he'd put his son in the firing line if he wasn't confident of him winning but it could be a case of Peter only seeing what he wants to see because it's his boy. That would surprise me because he seems a very astute guy. Who knows?

I pick n choose what PPVs I'd pay for now and I wouldn't pay for AJ v Hughie. I'd be more excited about Hughie fighting Whyte for the British on regular Sky or part of an AJ undercard. That could be interesting.

don't think Joshua is too far ahead of Hughie but your right he shouldn't be seeking out these type of fights, its like his guys are frightened to death of putting him in with a serious test in case the wheels come off

He wouldn't fight John McDermott or Chisora so he wont be fighting Joshua.

Peter has got money, and I'm sure Hughie could make money a number of otherways, no way would he risk his sons health, and his son his own health, purely for a quick buck.
