So Povetkin is not a title contender any more (have to wwi Stiverne) and after it, if still clean - negotiate new title fight.
During this time he will be under severe VADA control, on his expence. Practically probation...

Wilder gets to just sit back, fight bums, and watch Povetkin get older and older.

Yep. The Russians need to start their own independent boxing organization, because these phony western gangster alphabet things are messing with their boxers, and their favorite way now is with phony drug testing, like Doctor Irene Goodman's Las Vegas VADA outfit. They should start by declaring Povetkin world heavyweight champion. Join up with the other BRICS countries too.

...considering the odds, I actually thought the ruling was favourable to Povetkin, could have been worse..

Guys that beat Russian fighters always conveniently piss hot too so I'm not sure The Russians are all that trustworthy as far as giving legitimate drug tests are concerned. I do believe Povetkin popped hot legitimately I don't think Wilder faked his test or anything, but considering that Povetkin tested positive for just minimum amounts I think more was made of it than should've been, and Wilder will use it as an excuse to never again negotiate with Povetkin because he knows there'd be more money in getting knocked out by Joshua in England.

He has a broken hand. He isn't fighting anyone for a year.

No way in hell should a guy win a belt without fighting the champion or #1 contender. It isn't vacant, the champion is injured and it isn't wilder's fault they accused povetkin and got the fight cancelled.

Doctors have already said Wilder would be cleared to fight by January. A broken hand doesn't take a year to heal.

Read that Povetkin will fight Stiverne in the mean time.
I don't know what to believe as there are so much shenanigans on all sides regarding cheating and false accusations of cheating.

Stiverne is a waste of time for him except as a stay in shape fight. I'm getting so sick of boxing. Suppose in baseball you could only play the other best team in the world series if the sheister lawyers could agree on the terms and their hired drug outfits couldn't find anything to bitch about and if they agreed to come to your city and if they didn't choose to play against the 10th place team instead and if their star pitcher didn't hurt his hand and if the tv moguls agreed to cover it and on and on.
