In future this will be the plan. We only got the go ahead from the board this week and Karl Wheeler would not have been ready for September.

We are currently adding new sponsors. The prizemoney is already at an acceptable level. We are endeavouring to make it higher.

Not sure a trophy is appropriate, except from a promotional point of view. Just looks Prizefighter-lite to me.

Still, if it helps promote the area titles, and raise their standing, then great. Could create a fresh narrative for the small hall scene. A clear route to area titles etc.

Great idea, although not the catchiest name for a tournament. I'm taking the piss slightly, I think it is overall an excellent idea.

Perhaps you could get creative, get silentnight matresses to sponsor knockout of the night?
