I thought balls looked terrible, very open, wild punches, if his opponent was quality he would have been made to pay for his lack of discipline and laziness

After a couple of round's Balla didn't need too worry too much about Defence his offence was his Defence the opponent that was in front of him was just that an opponent a bloke to get some round's out of it was Ballas 1st fight this year he's only fought once a year the last 3........................... his boxing and combination punching and turning his opponent with good footwork Balla did look good he looked better then anyone I seen fight that night with his with his boxing style and tell me a young fighter who doesn't need some work on their Defence most people can throw punche's even my missus can.........So I agree that if it was a different opponent he [Balla] could have payed dearly for forgetting about Defence but we could say that about Tomlinson only If they flew some-one else out here from Japan and we all might be talking about Tomlinson v Billy ''The Kid'' Dib

Fair point Clive but if the discipline isn't there against the easy opponents then it won't be there against better opponents, he should be using rounds against lesser opponents to hone his skills, which includes his defence, his brother had his first loss a month or so ago by stoppage, that should have made him more aware of the importance of defence, also bad habits tend to breed more bad habits, I personally thought the best fight of the night was the girls, although I'd love to see refs pull up fighters for excessive holding, they seem to pull up the visiting fighters but never pull up the local fighters

You have made a good point but then you say the girl's was the best fight of the night I didn't like either girl's style if there was a good wicket keeper there the other night it was the 2 girl's Balla knocked some cobweb's out the other night in only his 1st fight this year and I like his style and it will be even better when he takes heed and work on his D
