Good step up for both guys if this show actually goes ahead. I think a fully fit Hughie will outbox Ruiz. We haven't seen a fully fit Hughie for quite a long time

I think Fury will Soundly outbox Ruiz in a near Shut out. I was really shocked when I heard Ruiz took this fight, guarantee you post fight we'll be hearing these type of lines from Ruiz "If he just stood in front of me, I would have got him" etc

I'm very curious on the betting lines for this fight

I agree. Still doesn't seem to be any substantial news on what's happening with Tyson and Wlad though. There's still this whole UKAD thing hanging around.

I think more highly of Fred Kassi than Andy Ruiz. At least Kassi takes on all comers and has been in some close fights. I think after Andy Ruiz fought Hammer his team was like wow we have to slow down this guy is going to get exposed

You make a good point, many will argue that Kassi is a superior opponent but let's wait and see.

Thanks, yeah It should be a damn good fight. Hope we get more match ups like this in the Heavyweight division. There's a lot of solid match ups like this

I'll believe it when I see it.

Just lucking at Ruizs record he took a ridiculously shot Liakovich the distance. That was a year after Wilder literally almost killed him.

I agree with the comments saying Kassi is better. Apparently he was robbed v Arreola and Breazeale where are Ruiz has faced really poor opposition.

Good fight if it happens. (Personally can't see it happening).

Neither have KO power. One has good movement and uses his reach well.
The other has faster hands.

A proper 50/50 for me.

It shows how confident they are of his ability, it won't be a close fight.

Hughie will box Ruiz's head off. He will circle around the ring with his nimbleness and vastly longer reach, peppering him with jabs. I hope a medical team is standing by, with all the chasing the fat man will have to do I can see him end in cardiac arrest.

Their combined opposition has been comically risk averse. Both fighters should be offended that the other's management deem them soft enough for the other to take.

A 21 year old that's fought Fred Kassi, and Rudenko. Sure it could be better, but comically risk adverse?

The last time I saw Kassi he was losing to Lionel Butler's 50 year old, 300lb corpse. Rudenko's record is not dissimilar to a David Haye opponent. I don't know why either man would be considered a notable scalp. They might well lose to Dominick Guinn, who is almost impossible to lose to.

Fights never going to happen so who cares
Top Rank are not going to bother to get Ruiz beat for that kind of money

Hughie in a stinker

Ruiz has some ability but seems to completely lack motivation

I'm not particularly impressed with either fighter, but I'd bet Fury would outbox Ruiz.
